- Simply Pure Cuticle Oil Pen, Crisp, 1 Count

Jump in and try this oil; your fingers will thank you! As a chronic hangnail picker and ripper (memories dating back to 1st grade, so ~30 years +/-) and skeptic, I had doubts going into this process. From information I had gathered on the various iterations of the Natural Nails-type subreddits, jojoba oil in its easiest application form came out as the top intervention for dry proximal and lateral nail fold skin, which is different from the cuticle as I learned. Bliss Kiss also proved to be a valuable source of Knowles and education for nail and skin care. This habit of brushing on oil at least two to three times daily replaced my constant skin checking and nitpicking. While my pictures show two timepoints about 6 weeks apart, the dramatic transformation was evident as early as 10-12 days, with regression of the PNF to a tidy and hangnail-free state. The rest of my basic routine evolved to include a cuticle dissolver and pusher (helpful to keep the PNF from stretching and ripping), a glass nail file, and a pair of nail polishes in a ridge-filling base coat and speed-setting top coat for protection from water ingress. I marvel every day at the new healthy appearance and feel of my digits and I’m grateful for this product. *The first brush pen lasted about 5 weeks for me. I bought the refill kit and found a video tutorial showing how to refill the brush pens, so it can be done with a little finesse!*

Before I got this cuticle oil, four of my nails were cracked and broken, and the cracks were regularly spreading anytime I typed or otherwise hit my nail against anything. The brush-on application is easy to use, and its citrus fragrance is pleasant but not overbearing. I keep it at my desk and apply it every few hours. Now, my nails are healthier, the cracks in two nails have fully grown out, and the other two on almost fully grown out without spreading any more.

First off, I want to say this was recommended by my sibling, as I’m trying to grow my nails out. My nails are on the softer side and tend to flake and peel (I promise I try taking care of them! 😭). I told them I wanted to take vitamins, and they suggested I just use this instead. I said I would give it a go and it has been sitting in my cart until a couple of days ago. I’ve only used it for a little over a day, and it’s one of my favorite things ever. It’s convenient and travel-size, so you can take it with you and you don’t need a huge bottle of grape seed oil or jojoba oil with you. Which is double good because this has both of those ingredients in it. It’s also easy to use! You just click the pen until you see oil start coming out of the brush, then basically paint your nails. You don’t even need a lot for each nail, just run the brush over once, then massage the oil into each nail until your fingers aren’t oily anymore. My fingers all ready feel so much less dry. The little card they give with it says it also can be used to brighten your tattoos and give them some life back. I did this with some of my smaller ones, and it looked like maybe they were more full of life, but I did it with no proper lighting in my room, so maybe not. Either way, if you want to try it, it won’t hurt! I love this little oil pen. Money well spent.

I wash my hands a lot and live in a dry climate, so my hands and my cuticles are always super dry. I keep this at my desk at work and will frequently apply it to my cuticles This is the second time I have bought this oil specifically. The first time- I felt like it absorbed easily and my hands and cuticles felt moisturized. This second time- I am not sure if there is a formula change or what, but I feel like this oil, though eventually absorbs into the skin, more so just sits on top of the skin. I also do not remember the first time the cap being a bright gold color. (I got the same scent each time) Overall, not bad and easy to use. I like the crisp smell it does not linger but has a nice smell during application. I am not sure if I am going to order again and give it a third shot or what.

I've tried many cuticle creams in the past, and this is hands down the best one I've used and the only one I will continue to buy. It's a pen that dispenses cuticle oil onto the brush at the bottom when you turn the top of the pen. Then you can easily distribute the oil on your cuticles by brushing it on. Then I rub it in and within just a few minutes my fingers don't feel all oily. That's the main issue I have with other brands, once you put it on your fingers stay sticky and oily for a long time which means I can't be doing other things! I keep one in my car, one in my purse and one in my nightstand just so I always have one handy when I have a few minutes to do it. Highly recommend!

i found this product to be really good for my cuticles especially after removing my DIY gel manicures. However as far as noticebly helping my nails themselves, it didn't do anything.....this is a cuticle oil. truly. I have tried the top 5 products for moisturizing damaged/thin short nails. this was one of them. I LOVVVED that I can very quickly put this stuff on at a stoplight. or anywhere and it takes 2 seconds and its soooooooo portable. However I know, from starting with dry, short, damaged nails and trying this for 14 days straight, drenching my nails and cuticles 6-8 times daily, that it's nice to soften cuticles...but if you need NAIL BED/PLATE help, Nailtiques Formula 2 or Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus are the only things that will turn around completely tore up nails within 14 days. And keep them strong after you remove the stuff. Sadly I would always keep this in my arsenal, if it really did help BOTH...but for me, it didn't. And my cuticles weren't in severely bad shape. Still the best and most convenient cuticle oil i have tried though. So if you want to spend the money on a new pen every 3 days, go for it. I found out from other reviewers that the pen that comes with the bottle that refills ONLY can load ONE USE at a time. Which is strange and poorly executed imo. I would prob consider keeping this on hand if they sold a larger bottle of it with a pen you could fully load, just to help my cuticles after removing my Gels. But alas, that's not the way they decided to design this. So due to it doing 50% of what it states it will do, and the way the pens and refills are designed and the price, I have to remove 2 stars. for 2 problems. But if you have bad bad cuticles, give it a shot with this product, at least a 7 day shot, preferrably a 14 day shot.

I used to order it in the USA during many years. Finally found it here and happy to confirm the quality and the smell are the same. Too bad it is much more expensive though than in the USA Amazon

This is nail crack. Wayyyy overpriced but it saved my nails after destroying them with press ons and nail glue. I tried a cheaper one after I used it all and my nails are starting to get little snags and cracks. I can grow long nails but keeping them long has always been a struggle. I have eczema and very dry skin so I think it works because it’s very moisturizing, and I guess that’s what I needed this whole time. I just repurchased it because it really does help my nails not break.

I had a hysterectomy quite young and my nails really deteriorated with the abrupt drop in hormone levels associated with surgical menopause. Extreme ridges, brittle, weak, easily torn. I tried just about everything - nail strengthening and/or hardening polishes, various brands of cuticle oil etc. This worked by far the best. I apply it in the evening, either before bed or while watching tv. The key is to let it soak in. My nails are more robust, cuticles healthy, and most of the nail ridges have disappeared. Still have weak spots on certain nails but for just 3 months of use, the difference is amazing. I also live in a very dry climate so this helps keep my nails and cuticles hydrated. Highly recommend.
