Using this on a Rancilio Silvia and parts. I purchased the Silvia second hand so I’m cleaning all the parts! I received a very dirty double spout portafilter and Jake from Seattle Coffee Gear suggested I soak this portafilter in Cafiza to get it clean. While the chrome is now stripped off (from taking an OXO bottle brush to it- it was completely caked in espresso like no one had cleaned it before- I have been able to get a lot more caked up espresso out of the inside of the portafilter after soaking in 1/4 teaspoon of cafiza in 4 cups of water for two days. Trying to figure out how to attach an image to this review from my phone.
