Having to rebuild my old puter table, it's older then me, has been on my to do list for years. This year, i'm getting to it. While I have some woodworking skills, i'm not great at gluing up the table top. It turned out wonky, but that's not the glues fault. It forms an incredibly strong, tight sealing bond. It's color is a light brown. What you expect from a wood glue. Blends in nicely, provided you don't do what I did, and used a bit too much. It sands off nicely if that happens. It says it's water proof/resistant, but since this will be an indoor table, I have no way of testing it. Buy this product when you have a tough job to get done. It bonds like you wouldn't believe, and you can feel the quality of that bond. Keep in mind, once it's bonded, there's no going back. So get it right the first time. Overall, it's a pretty good value for the money. The amount you get, will handle gluing a few boards together and some left over in the bottle. Overall, it's a highly effective glue.

I was initially going to give it one star because it didn't appear to work. I was making a horizontal beehive and needed to glue some pieces on - I let it sit for an hour and had put some weights on it - but it still hadn't set. I re-read the instructions, but unfortunately I don't have a clamp or a vise, and I had not waited 24 hours - so I found some much heavier things to put on it, and let it sit overnight - and wouldn't you know - it was FANTASTIC the next day. STUCK FAST! I cannot pry it loose (which is great!) - but if I hadn't waited overnight, or REALLY put heavy things on it - I would have thought it was no good. It's EXCELLENT - just use a clamp or something and wait 24 hours. Great stuff!

This worked perfectly to help repair a broken wooden lamp! It dries fairly clear (not fully clear, just fairly) so it did not impact the black finish of the wood. It was easy to use, though I will say the tip took a bit of getting used to. I did a couple of practice squirts on some paper towel before I started and I'm definitely glad I did. The consistency of the glue is thick without being unworkable, thin without being watery, and it dried quickly without impacting the working time. I think this will be a great long-term fix for what I needed and I'm glad I'll now have this on hand for other projects that may require something similar.

I have used "Gorilla Glue" in different formulations since it was introduced,with all of them performing well. THIS particular bottle, was a disappointment, but only due to the seller. This bottle must have set on the shelf for a long time - with the lid loose. As with most Gorilla Glues, the user needs to shake these products very well prior to use. After shaking the bottle for well over a minute and then trying to use it, only to have nothing flow out when attempting to apply the glue, made me wonder. I had noticed when I removed it from the shipping box that the screw on lid was quite loose. Nothing had leaked out, so I thought I got lucky and continued. Not being able to squeeze any glue out, I removed the lid and peered into the bottle. This particular bottle had a large clump of mostly dried glue at the neck, which acted like a stopper when I attempted to dispense it. I grabbed a long, thin strip of wood, inserted it into the bottle, and began to stir. Several minutes late, I was fairly certain I had successfully destroyed the clump and tried it gain. This time, the glue flowed out as I expected it to. This would easily have a five star rating from me had it not been for that clump. Even though the issue I experienced was small, and NOT THE FAULT OF THE MANUFACTURER, the fact the retailer didn't notice the loose cap and investigate to make certain the product was as intended, made me knock off the fifth star. I'm a satisfied user of Gorilla Glue, and I still will buy this brand, I was miffed that the quality control of the seller was lacking. I'm just super glad nothing leaked out in the shipping box. (And I really wish Amazon, as well as their sellers, would get it through their thick heads that chemicals and cleaners should not be shipped in the same box unless the "Non-consumable" material is isolated within it's own sealed bag inside the box.

I was worried I had already bought this glue because it was waterproof and would hold up outside. I wanted to board up my dog's house for winter (Upstate NY winters are bad- my mini dachshunds dont play outdoors in the winter. I panicked because all these reviews said dont use it for gluing trim on wood ( which is what I wanted to do) because this glue foams up 3-4 times it size when dry. And they said it was tough to wipe glue off, and leakage- Forget About it! I went light with the glue- and it has been 3 days and it is flat and even and perfect~ THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT DONT LET PEOPLE SCARE YA....

Good stuff. Strong. Easy to work with. Easy cleanup.

I use this as a wood glue to put together wooden 3d model kits. The last one I assembled came with an entire sheet of parts split into the three pressed sheets. This stuff came to the rescue in a big way. Most of the time my application is using a toothpick or a very small beveled edge to spread it. I use very little to either repair broken parts or to hold loose pieces in place. I was very happy in this last kit that some of the functional axles that had broken held together and maintained a decent shape after applying glue and clamping to dry. My only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to get out of the bottle. But if you're looking for a glue that excels in wood-to-wood adhesion, I'm not sure if there is a better one on the market. If you're looking for your wood to adhere to something other than wood, you might need a different product.

Worked as described cheaper than Walmart

I am an LA-based engineer and a woodworking enthusiast (of considerable experience, I must add) who is spending a couple of months with family and friends in India. Having been quite familiar with the Gorilla brand, I ordered a bottle for a couple of projects that I was doing. I found that the glue had been shipped in an unusable coagulated form. This is a waste of time and money for me. Mind you, the product had been in an airconditioned room once it was received in Kerala. It is likely that the glue that was formulated for the climatic conditions of the US does not maintain its form or qualities in India.

Excellent product glued a chair leg back on after someone rocked on it and broke it. Provides a strong bond no nails or screws needed if you have part of the original tongue or equivalent joint intact.
