Soft stools to solid, weight loss to gain, lazy to energeticโฆworks great but VERY strong smell!!!!!!
Iโm leaving 5 stars overall because the product actually works. Since starting it, my dog has been able to keep weight on much better than before.. I did notice that dosage matters a lot though like if the amount isnโt right he actually starts losing weight instead of gaining or maintaining it. So measuring carefully is really important for this.. Another big improvement I noticed was with his digestion, for about a year his stools were always soft no matter what food changes I tried but after starting this enzyme powder his stools finally became solid again this alone told me his body was actually digesting his food betterโฆhis energy levels went from avoiding everything and staying in his cage to being whiney and barky for attention and playโฆmore excitement, more weight, and more attentiveness.. he was very very severely thin from 2025 May to January/February 2026โฆheโs just now keeping weight on him due to thisโฆheโs does not get diarrhea but rather good solid poops. One other thing I want to mention that other buyers should know about it is the smell. The powder has a VERY strong odor. The closest way I can describe it is like cat urine mixed with a sanitized hospital smell..almost like very strong LysolโฆWhen I first opened and used it the smell was intense enough to trigger migraines for me for the first few days. It also lingered in the air and on my hands and I could still smell it later which sometimes made me feel nauseousโฆI had to buy gloves and I had to air out the room due to itโฆpowder is sticky and sticks to hands Iโd like that to be known. Iโd also like to say, Iโve tried cheaper and more expensive things And nothing works as good as this, the other also had a strong smell like this aswell..usually the same smell. Because of that smell, Iโve seen/read some people say their dogs refuse to eat food with it mixed inโฆSurprisingly, my dog had the exact opposite reaction he actually loves his food more now and gets more excited for meals than he ever did before. Even with the strong smell and the headaches it caused me at first I still rated it 5 stars because it truly helped my dog..heโs been struggling with his weight for over a year or more..and heโs finally gaining weight due to this. At the end of the day his health matters more to me than dealing with a few migraines. If you can get past the smell and make sure youโre using the correct dosage. It is definitely worth the money.

My dog has EPI and these enzymes are vital for her to digest food and live
I have a Border Collie that was diagnosed with EPI about three years ago. She experienced diarrhea and her weight dropped from 42 to 32 pounds (life threatening as she wasn't digesting anything). The vet prescribed enzymes which were at least twice the cost of this product and required a prescription. My dog needs these enzymes to digest her food and this is the best value that I've found. One jar lasts about two weeks for her (three scoops with each meal 2x/day.) YES--the product does not "smell" so great in her poops, but you should moderate the amount--more enzymes can mean more stinky poop. And the poops are solid, not soft, so she is digesting her food. Plus, she's back to 42 pounds. My girl gobbles her food, there's no fussing, and I am so happy that there is a cure for her disease. I have also returned her to her high protein diet and she is active, vibrant and happy. I highly recommend this product and thank Amazon for delivering it so quickly.

Packaging of jar not as usual
I have ordered this product for my dog for years that has EPI. The product works really well and for the most part Iโve had good luck ordering it. My most recent purchase was received today and as you could see in the photos, the seal on it has a weird stain. The jar itself was not sealed as it normally is it usually has a plastic band over the top and then the seal is nice and tight that I have to pull off. The seal had like a little lifting area. product itself looks OK and Iโm totally out so I needed to use it for my dog. Iโm very disappointed that I canโt return it for some reason. This product is not returnable and not refundable so that is very disappointing to me since thereโs obviously something wrong with the packaging, hoping it was just a problem with the filling and sealing of the jar.

READ THE REVIEWS!!! IT STINKS and causes Asthma Attacks!!!
I should have read the reviews before purchasing this for my foster dog who has EPI when the rescue didn't get his regular enzymes ordered on time. They are not exaggerating when they say it smells like cat urine....strong cat urine. I had to set my dog's bowl outside while it was soaking, because of how horrid the smell was. My foster dog, who eats just about anything because he is always hungry, would not eat his food with this on it. The only way I could get him to eat breakfast today was to dump this out, clean his bowl and offer him food with no enzymes on it. Totally out of character for him, so that speaks volumes to me. Also, like most enzymes, if you have any breathing sensitivities, this dust can trigger an asthma attack. I always wear a mask when I prepare his food until the enzymes are fully mixed into the water as I learned my lesson early on, but even though I did that today, it triggered an asthma attack and my chest and throat still feel funny. Also, the tip of my tongue feels/tastes like I licked a metal fence post. Again, I was wearing a face mask and have never had this problem with his regular enzymes (Enzyme Diane). I'm returning the product, even though it's opened as this crap should not be sold...PERIOD!!! You definitely get what you pay for, and I'll stick to the more expensive enzymes that are odorless. Amazon needs to remove this from their site.

Happy dog again
We were struggling with our GSD, she lost weight, stopped eating for days and snubbed even the treats on her kibble. It was worrisome and frustrating! When the vet suspected EPI and prescribed a rather expensive kibble we began seeking alternatives. Pancretase was recommended to us by a friend and thank goodness it helped! Our GSD has had no issue with this powder. Does it have a smell to it? Yes. It most certainly does, but nothing so offensive I'd put it before my GSD's well being. We are now on our 3rd container. Two scoops per meal is enough to have our GSD feeling good and looking good skin and hair. She is back to being spunky, eating all her food everyday and keeping it down. It should be noted that I add this to the human food I now cook for my GSD along with her vitamins, probiotics, fish oil and glucosamine. No experience with mixing this with kibble.

Iโve already started using it and have seen good results with my dogs. The quantity is appropriate given the price and the results it delivers.
