Works like a space heater - not a single source of heating
Decent space heater. I like that there is no flame or parts that can ignite a fire. It’s also totally quiet. I live in the mountains in Southern Vermont - the past 10 days the temp has gone down below zero every day and we had over 2 feet of snow but this is a wonderful place if you love outdoor sports in the cold. My apartment has 2 main sources of heat - radiator auxiliary and a state of art electric heating and cooling system. I use this heater only if it goes below 68 inside and in an interior bathroom which feels warm going into the shower but cold when I get out. It does a good job taking the chill out of the colder areas. It works the way I thought it would. This is the second winter I’ve used it so can’t project how long it will last. Space heaters generally have a myriad of issues. If the heat goes out in my abode this won’t warm a room when the temp is zero. I would need a log stove to dent the cold. I also never turn the unit to its max because I assume this would be a problem esp if I depended on it 24/7. This is easy to move around. It has a hand space above the thermostat which works fine. I wouldn’t pull it by the cord because that, for sure, would cause issues. So, if you have the need for a major heating appliance this unit isn’t the remedy. If you want to just cut the edge of a chilly area this will work fine. It will take about an hour to see results. If you live in a warm area where it doesn’t go below the 60s a few of these would work fine like or in conjunction with radiant or hot water floor heating like you see in S California. If this conks out I will need a new plan C.

The best oil filled heater!
The upper story in my house is horrid hot in the summer and extra cold in the winter and I needed a boost of heat for comfort. I have two of these space heaters and they do not disappoint. I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to ensuring that the prongs of my plugs do not get overly hot in the outlet, that the plug itself does not get hot and I know a lot of this also has to do with old outlets. Also, safety is paramount and if a product says it shuts off if tipped over, then it needs to do just that. My first one I've had for a few winters and the second one I wanted to have in reserve, but also use when temps really drop, and they are both exceeding my expectations. It is very easy to assemble out of the box - you merely screw in the wheels and you're good to go. This is a no frills space heater and has simple dials that you can run on low, medium or high energy output along with the dial for the heat setting. I only need to run mine on the low energy output and on this setting, even on high, my plugs and prongs stay nice and cool - they only get a tad warm when the unit turns on to heat the oil back up. And the heat these generate is perfect - enough to heat up a bedroom. They do give off an initial smell when using for the first time or storing for the winter, but after the initial use that does go away. The tip over shut off works!! I tested literally 8 or 9 other units that said they had tip over protection and none of them worked so back they went. Also for added safety, I have 18x12 ceramic floor tiles that I put the space heaters on so they do not heat up my carpet. For those unfamiliar with oil filled radiator space heaters, they are incredibly energy efficient. They have sensors that monitor the heat of the oil, shut off when it reaches the temperature you select, then turn back on again to heat up when it dips below that. I highly recommend these for any of your supplemental heating needs.

Quiet, Strong Heat Output — Great for Large Rooms
Noise level Runs very quietly. Perfect for nighttime use or keeping a nursery warm without background noise. Heat output Produces strong, steady heat that warms a large space evenly. Great for living rooms or open areas. Heating speed Heats up gradually like most oil‑filled radiators, but once it reaches temperature, it stays consistent. Remote control Remote works well and makes it easy to adjust settings without getting up. Stability Very stable and doesn’t wobble. The base feels secure, even on carpet. Size Good size for heating large rooms without taking up too much floor space.

Good Choice for Garage
This heater has worked great through two Midwest winters thus far in my garage for my dog. I don't know if she cares, but it gives me peace of mind that her space is a little warmer cold days. It is not like a heater in your face, and takes time to heat up, but does a good job. No noise. Adjustable heat settings.

I can't say enough good things
This little thing surprised me and continues to surprise me! Pro: small, lightweight, compact. Easy to move around and easy to move from room to room. Puts off some heat!!! Cons: I haven't found any. Maybe that it made my office a little too warm before I caught how powerful it was and turned it down but that's not a fault of it, that's user error. Living in North Texas with a heat pump for our central heat is rough during the deep winter months. When it gets down below freezing the heat pump cannot keep up. I've had trouble keeping it above 59 in the house. I have some old school space heaters that blow hot air but I don't like them for various reasons. Main one being when you turn them off you're cold immediately. This is not the case with the radiator. I didn't know what to expect I suppose but I did not expect the heat it puts off. We have a combined large living area, kitchen, and dining room. Very large space, I would guess around 200-250 sq ft. I placed this heater in the middle and shut all the doors to the rooms and to our second half of the house. Turned on a ceiling fan in reverse and turned the central heating unit off at the thermostat. This little thing kept it at 63 in that entire area all day long. The fan in reverse ensured the heat was evenly distributed so instead of having hot spots the entire area was just warm and comfortable and no doubt much less expensive to maintain that heating a 5 bedroom 2 living area home when no one is in most of those rooms throughout the day. I could rave all day but I will stop. You will not be disappointed. Also using a smart plug is invaluable. I purchased this unit with the dials instead of LCD display specifically for this. I leave the temp where I want and the thermostat on high and turn it on and off via the smart plug and use a schedule. When I get out of bed I turn it on and it's already putting off heat by the time I get to the living room. Ok now I'm done. Do not hesitate to purchase.

Safe, basic, economical, reliable heating
Not sure what the description means by "heater for large space." I use one of these in each of two rooms--guest room and craft and plant room, ~150 sf--to keep them at 58-60 ish in the winter. I haven't tested them in larger spaces. Running at 600w, the lowest of the three settings, they do the job and barely bump the heating bill in my all-electric house. Also, when the power toggles off the heat continues to radiate from the fins. Much more efficient than the 1500w wall units that have only one power setting. The lack of flammable/sparkable heating elements is a plus. Assembly out of the box was very easy--putting the casters on--and the first heat cycle produced no smells, as often happens with new space heaters. (Good reason to always beta test them in a well vented space.) The unit is easy to move, weight-wise, though the casters get cranky on thickly piled carpet. No problem rolling it acros looped area rugs. If you run it on the highest setting and have small humans running around, you'll want to be conscious of potential for injury. But this is a basic, simple, time-tested, and proven space heating solution. Glad Pelonis continues to make this simple, no-Borg, all-manual model.

Great heater
This thing kept me warm all winter in my little room...up until we lost power, but when this baby kicks on, it is ON, its nearly winter again, so lets see if she still held up after being off to the side since Jan.

Works well while it works…
Heater is easy to assemble, operate and performs well for about 2 years. Have bought a few over the years. First the led light goes out and later it will stop producing heat all together. Still seems to be the best option at this time.

An excellent, versatile oil heater for an excellent price.
An excellent, effective heater with numerous settings. Easy to move from one room to another. I use it mostly in a very cold (in the winter) poorly insulated basement bathroom and it keeps the whole room warm and comfortable even when it is -30°C outside.
