How long does a bar usually last so I can place a regular order

It depends on your hair texture, thickness and how often you use it. I have free form dreadlocks and I use it once a week and mine lasts about 2 months.

Can I keep this in the shower or will the water/moisture dissolve it fast?

I can't see why this can't be kept in your shower area. If you put it on a holder on the wall where the water isn't running, then why not. Or you can even store it in its own box, pop it back in the box after use, and sit that on your shower products holder. 🚿

Has anyone had really dry cracking hands from using this shampoo?

No, rather the opposite. My hands seem to be a little bit softer coming out of the shower. My hair is definitely softer - love the smell
