Q: Do these work on a basic plastic (resin) table?

I used them on a plastic folding table and on some round tables where o ly the legs folded under. They worked very well on both. Since our event was outdoors and there was a breeze, the clips held the tablecloths in place. I DID NEED to figure to use about two more per table though. I should have purchased more and placed them closer together. For a six foot round table I needed to use about 6 instead of 4.

I do not know. I used mine on picnic tables.

Again i'm not sure. I have not tried them on round tables.

We did not use them for table skirts, only for table cloths. The way they are made to attach to the table , I believe would prevent them from being used on a table skirt. The flat part goes on the tabletop around the edge. If you don’t mind part of the skirt being caught underneath where the round part attaches, then I guess you could use them for a skirt.
