Is baby in the 'm' position in this carrier?

Yes, especially during the majority of the first year, which is when it's important that baby is in the 'M' position, with knee-to-knee support. As baby becomes bigger and those little legs grow longer, knee-to-knee is not so important, although babies and toddlers should still have support to mid thigh. If that is no longer achieved, then it's time to size up to a bigger baby or toddler carrier - the age varies from child-to-child dependent on their overall size or height/leg or length.

What is the size in inches of the waist belt please?

The Gemini waist belt is approximately 28-57 inches, sometimes a touch longer. It's worn over clothing so a petite wearer with a slimmer waist could still secure a snug fit as the waist belt is not word directly around your natural waist but instead, settles on the top of your hips. This should also be a consideration for a larger wearer.

Would this sling be suitable for someone with a big bust, and not exactly a skinny Minnie?

All we have is that it fits XS- XXL and the waist measurement is from 27" up to 59" so it should fit if you want any more info it may pay to contact Slumbaroo who make theseslings
