The SC1445 is a completely manual battery charger and jump starter. You must manually set the charge rate and use the timer to set the length of charging. Charging can be monitored via the built-in ammeter.

What kinds of batteries will the SC1445 charge?

You can use the SC1445 to charge 6-volt and 12-volt standard, AGM, gel, and deep-cycle batteries. The jump start feature can only be used on 12-volt batteries.

Does the SC1445 have an internal fan?

Yes, the SC1445 has an internal fan that prevents the unit from overheating.

How do I use the engine start feature?

With the timer in the Off position, connect the battery clamps. Then, plug the SC1445 into a wall outlet. Next, set the charge rate selector to the Engine Start position. Finally, crank the engine.
