The Valve Index cameras only work when a true USB3 link is established, which posed a problem with the previous extension I was using (which was very old). This 10m cable was successful as solving this problem as it seems to provide a true USB3 connection.The cable features a power connector but I didn't have to use it. I suspect it's not necessary for the signal to come through and is only useful if you have a power-hungry device at the other end, due to the voltage drop across the cable.In the end I am very satisfied with this cable.
