What would the height be if you stack three of these bins on top of one another? Do they overlap a bit, or would it be a full 21 inches (7 in each)?

Actually when you stack them the top recesses into the one under it so 3 height would be closer to 20-1/2 inches tall

Akro-Mils 30240 Plastic Storage Stacking Hanging Akro Bin has a plastic front cover to avoid spills?

Forgot to mention earlier that they do no have a front cover. When they are stacked you can still reach in to get your tools, nails, screws, papers, ets. Are you using this for liquids...I would not.
