For the money this thing is great and the weight is fantastic for beginners and experienced users alike. Easy to adjust (just need a box cutter or sharp scissors) - just make sure you don’t cut it too short. The PVC rope and aluminum handles are nice and durable and the ball bearings definitely make the whole thing move much more smoothly than a cheap alternative. It’s heavy enough to make learning new step patterns easy because you have good perception of where the rope is and it moves slower than a traditional lightweight rope. On the other hand, it’s still light enough that you can get it moving quite fast once you’ve got your rhythm down - great for cardio and it’ll have your shoulders burning after a few rounds, excellent for boxers and martial artists. I haven’t used the braided rope but it seems to be of equal quality and includes a rubber protector to stop it fraying if used on concrete. If this ONLY included the PVC rope it would be worth the money, so I’m definitely pleased with the purchase. Would definitely recommend - especially at this price.

Handles are solid material, and the rope is a thick, weighted, threaded rope. Also comes with a heavy hard rubber rope. Length is adjustable by unscrewing and le lids and adjust internally in the handles.

My daughter found this jump rope and asked me to order it. I didn't pay much attention to it's selection. Once it arrived however, I was stunned by how nice it was. I grew up in gym classes with little plastic handles with braided ropes. This is made with CNC quality metal handles, a quality rope, the option of poly cord, and rope length adjustment grips that work solid. I was able to swing the rope helicopter style on the sides and fast jump with no length change in the handles. If you are looking for a good jump rope for fitness use, this is well worth it.

This rope had been put through the ringer. I have had engine parts on this thing, it has had the truck door slammed on it a few times. The weighted part is no joke. The bag is the best part about this. I know where my rope is by looking for my bag. I would like for it to be a tad bit longer cause I am tall. I make it work though. If I ever lose this rope I will buy it again.
