Ard Al Zaafaran Turab Al Dhahab Eau De Parfum is not the average coconut. If you are someone who dislikes the standard tiare type scents that smell great in the bottle but turn into a sickly sweet scent on your body, this might be for you. It's not a B&BW coconut. It's softer, more sophisticated and hints at the beach and coconut in a dreamy rather than overt way. Some reviews say it smells like soap. I would say it has a clean undertone that relates to such scent memories. There are no competing notes here, they enhance each other gently. IMHO, an analogy for this fragrance is a honeymoon along the Almalfi Coast or French Riviera rather than in the Caribbean or Pacific Islands. All are wonderful destinations but the ambiance is different. This perfume has understated depth.

I originally was introduced to this sent in Latvia and was so excited to find it here. It has a clean smell, but it also is a bit rich in scent. It definitely has a 4 to 6 hour life longer if you spray more. Highly recommend recommended. It’s a perfect balance between sweetness and a clean scent. And what a large bottle for the value for the money you spend!

i gave this perfume four stars because i honestly believe that it smells very nice, the only problem i have is that when you first spray, it’s so strong and unbearable. it burns my nose. but other than that, it lasts for a really long time, the bottle is pretty heavy as well, now for the smell, it’s like a stronger version of sabrina carpenters perfume “sweet tooth” but it lasts way longer than that. it stays on my clothes for SO long. i wore this perfume on a monday and washed my clothes friday and still smelled the perfume. if you dont mind the burning sensation in your nose, i believe this is definitely a good perfume to spend your money on

Whether this gets 3 or 5 stars depends what you're looking for out of this fragrance. On my skin, I'm pretty much only getting coconut. This isn't a bad thing, but if you're looking for the lime and white floral notes to come through, they may not depending on your skin chemistry. Thus, Turab al Dhahab is a layering scent for me. On that count I'm not disappointed. I find it adds a delicious Caribbean beach-y, vacation vibe to more gourmand fragrances that could otherwise smell darker and more wintery- thus I appreciate the versatility. Yesterday I tried this with a complex layering of Kenzo's spicy Jungle Elephant, Franck Olivier's Oud Vanille, and Al Rehab's Choco Musk roll-on. The result was a delicious scent bubble of bakery items that had a touch more depth and grown-upness because of the dark, oud-y vanilla and spice. Today, I added Lattafa's excellent parallel fragrance to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino (through their Maison Alhambra line), and with its sunny orange blossom goodness and was immediately transported to the islands. So I appreciate this fragrance for its versatility. At this price, I'm fine with not wanting to wear it alone. But if you are going for suntan lotion with a very faint hint of margarita, this by itself might be for you. Heads up for bottle collectors, however: This bottle leaves a LOT of room for improvement. The two strips of cheap velvet literally glued down the sides do nothing for a perfume display with higher end bottles. I keep this one out of sight. Meh, whatever. For $20 bucks it's not a dealbreaker. I don't regret the purchase.

Reminds me of a fancy coconut soap. Clean, strong, fresh and perfectly unisex. My male friends douse themselves with this stuff and are just as obsessed as me. I’m a woman who loves clean and girly scents and this is one of my favorite and most used fragrances as you can tell by the huge dent in the bottle. Very musky and I’ve noticed it becomes even muskier the more it macerates which I don’t mind. I bought this for $18, for the price you truly cannot beat it. This perfume has a strong scent but not in a headache inducing way. Good for year round you can wear this any time of year in any occasion. Another banger from lattafa

I don’t know if I got a bad bottle but there is nothing tropical or citrus about this. Idek what Im smelling but it’s very mature and there is almost no sweetness. Smells like an older church hymn or something.

Okay ladies all of my perfume lovers I think this is beautiful from the box to the bottle to the scent it doesn't tell you the notes but when you spray it you don't have to wait you don't have to think about it too much it comes out of the bottle smelling amazing and as it dries down it just continues to smell amazing it's not too sweet it's not too strong it's not too musky everything is just right now I can say this it lasts but not very long I wish it would last a little bit longer but beyond that I sprayed this perfume on me and my boyfriend was what's that this smells so good so with that being said for this price range and this size bottle go ahead grab you some I haven't seen many reviews but I'm telling you this this one is truly amazing
