I bought it for handprints for my kids and it does a really good job. will go a long way because you barely have to touch it and it's really well saturated. my only con is, it is very hard to get off. so if you are using it for hand or footprints, keep that in mind or buy a washable one. but it's not really made for that and works how it's supposed to so I give it 5 stars. it came shipped wrapped in plastic in a box so it wasn't dried out or anything. it also comes with a little sliding lock on it so when not in use it won't just come open which is really nice. this is worth the money and I highly recommend it! Stamping onto paper, I use this product daily in my business. The pigmentation of the ink is dark & rich, creating a clean evenly saturated result. Dries quickly. No smears. The stamp pad itself is sleek, locks tight, but can be a little difficult to open. So, I don't lock it after each use (just close the lid) & the ink doesn't seem to be drying out at all this way.
