Review: Great cross bars - A bit pricy for what they are, but guaranteed to fit with towers. Measure for needed width carefully before buying. I'm glad that I did not spend more on the higher end aluminum versions. Used to install a large rooftop carrier from Yakima on a station wagon. No regrets once I got over the price of the entire system. Now I have something that I can put on for loaded car trips that should last for well over a decade. An additional note is that it was easy to remove within 10 minutes - so if not needed for a few weeks or more, make them last longer by removing and storing them within the rooftop box itself and keep that indoors.

The yakima system is expensive but you get what you pay for. Cons: The installation was a bit of a pain and the directions could have been better. Pros: Once installed this thing was solid. It's clearly not going anywhere. There is no flex, rattle or movement of any kind. I didn't try without the windshield but with it the wind noise is minimal if any. Doesn't interfere with the sunroof at all.

A bit pricy for what they are, but guaranteed to fit with towers. Measure for needed width carefully before buying. I'm glad that I did not spend more on the higher end aluminum versions. This bar worked great for hauling my kayak and canoe. It is very strong and doesn't flex under the weight. It creates minimal wind noise on my Toyota Tacoma PreRunner, but anything you put up there will create some noise. Overall it is a great bar
