I highly recommend !!
I've had the unit about a week or so and I have to say I'm impressed with its performance. It's actually pretty quiet and it quickly cools my 12X35 room. This room normally calls for an 8,000 BTU unit but I decided to go with a 10,000 BTU just to make sure I had enough cooling power. Installation was very easy but it's best to have two people as the unit is pretty heavy. I honestly have no complaints at this time.

This AC is a great buy. And contrary to another's review, I find the unit reasonably quiet. Perhaps they got a bad unit. It was well packaged and delivered before expected.

Out with the old;in with the new.
This was a replacement for a Kenmore 5000 BTU unit I bought in 2007.The Kenmore wore out.The Cool Living unit is very quiet and cools my small apartment very well.The ENERGY SAVER feature is the thermostat.A perfect upgrade.I ran it for a three day heatwave with average 90 degree temps and it works very well in the ENERGY SAVER mode at low fan speed.

Highly Recommend
Does a great job cooling. Easy to install. I am very pleased with the features and options it has to offer. To be able to set a temperature and trust that the unit will turn on and shut off to moderate the set temperature is priceless, versus the conventional air conditioners that run non stop driving up my electric bill. Highly recommend this air conditioner.

I did a lot of research before I decided on this air conditioner. I was really excited about it. After I installed it, it was insanely loud!
