Much better than the bluetooth ones
I originally bought a Sylvania Smart+ bluetooth flex strip kit, but they would disconnect from Google home about once a week. I'd reset them and reconnect them, but it kept disconnecting. Then one day, they stopped turning on when unplugging and replugging. They sent me a free replacement, which is very nice, but those suffered the same fate after only a few weeks. I've had this Wifi flex strip for 3 weeks now and they work fantastically. You can control them with Google Home, Apple Homekit, or Alexa fairly easily. You can also control them with the Sylvania Wifi app. The full spectrum of colors and the brightness controls are great. We have ours under our kitchen cabinets. I highly recommend these!

Love them
finding these were a happy accident we found our first set in a local store and said we use them for something ,well that something was on my wife's desk to use as a back light behind her monitor for her office, after setting them up and using them for a while with google asst. we purchase more from here and use them under our kitchen cabinets it is so nice that we don't have and bulky light fixers under the cabinets any more and when we want them off we just say hey google turn them off

Flawed, but absolutely fantastic for the price
While these aren't perfect, they're (mostly) super simple to set up. I bought these explicitly for HomeKit compatibility, and aside from a small hitch in setup (which I'd known about from other Sylvania Smart+ / LEDVANCE products), they function exactly as expected.Good: * HomeKit support and BlueTooth mesh - I like having pure local control over devices. * Decent color handling. I have no interest in color strobing effects, just color temperature, and these have dual cool/warm white LEDs that make getting the color tone right much better to match overhead lighting. * Strips are well-sealed - unsure of IP rating but I would assume they're at least IP65. * 5 color - RGB on the larger LED, cool white and warm white on discrete LEDsMediocre: * Sylvania app support is rough. You have to "enable" these first using the "Sylvania Smart Home" app before adding in the Home app if you're HomeKit, and you'll waste time if you accidentally get the "Sylvania Smart WiFi" app which can *not* recognize these - while that may seem obvious, the "WiFi" app comes up first on search and you may not expect different apps to be used. The correct app is also pretty un-obvious - refers to "Select your smart home Speaker", but will correctly update/enable lighting. * Low LED count of about 20 LED "groups" per meter. Not unexpected given price, but it'd be nice if they were denser for better diffusion. * Can be a little slow to respond since they're BlueTooth - seems like they may have a "sleep" period since changing settings happens pretty quickly if they're soon after an initial change, but can be a little pokey for the first one.Bad: * There's no physical switch override on the controller. This is a pretty big oversight in my opinion - the LED driver should have at least a small button to power the strip on/off physically.

Great HomeKit Light Strip
Got these on prime day for $13.99. Very happy with them. I use them to light some built in cabinets, as well as under lighting for my wet bar. While they are not the quickest to respond in HomeKit, they always do. Just ensure that you download the sylvania app first to update them to the most recent firmware before doing the HomeKit install.

Impossible to pair
I I’ve searched for a few hours online, following whatever tutorials I could olsuch as unplugging 5 times, trying both SYLVANIA apps which are both don’t show any lights, and scanned the QR code on the light receiver box only for it to get hung up in Apple home. I can’t figure it out on Apple nor Google and I usually am good at figuring these things out. Not intuitive or easy configuration so now the lights are locked in white.

Mixed up model numbers
I think there's a mix of new and old stock for these light strips at the Amazon warehouse.. I ordered one set that came with a 5 pin connector and had model number 74521 on the tag. Second set I ordered came with 6 pin connector and model number 75575 on the tag. The first set (74521) does NOT work with the expansion kit. If you look at the expansion kit listing they even have 5 pin connectors on the box but the product image has 6. So I think they switched products at some point and just have a mix of stock - big headache! but at least I figured it out. That being said these lights paired just fine with my HomeKit set up. They're bright and colorful and work nicely with my other Sylvania bluetooth bulbs. I wish they had a way to set "scenes" or to have a transitioning color option... I've only been able to set one color and it just stays that color. Even cheap-o basic led lights come with rainbow transition effect options. I suppose I can set up automations in HomeKit to change the color but that'll be a pain.

Easy colorful aquarium light's
Easy to set up with the app or Alexa. If you use Alexa no need for the app.Basically conects to your Alexa device via Bluetooth. Won't conect to the tv cube it needs to conect to a Dot or Flex for some reason.

One kit may or may not fit everyones needs.
Perfect for filling gaps where you need to. I was able to stash my power supply inside my OTR cabinet and run only a single cable down to the lights. Makes for a clean look. Just wish the kit included more of the small 1.5” cables OR more rigid connectors. I would’ve liked to have seen 4 4 way rigids instead of 2 4 ways and 2 RGBW->RGB’s that I and majority of others will never EVER use. For the 5 cents it probably costs them for the cables I would’ve also preferred to pay a little more to get a little more. Or have different kits you can buy of individual sizes. At this rate if I needed only 6 more 1.5”, I would then have to buy 3 kits and throw away the rest. Marked my review down by one star due to these.
