Hafny Handlebar Bike Mirror, Stainless Steel Lens, Bicycle Mirror, Safety Reflector, E-bike Mirror, Cycling Mirror, HF-MR081

We ordered both a left and right mirror for our new ebike. When they arrived, the right side mirror had the correct mount, but the incorrect mirror. I emailed the company at the email address listed on the product package, and they responded within a day. The company immediately send the correct part and we now have both mirrors installed and love them. It is refreshing to actually be able to connect with a company that supports their customers and stands behind their products. Well done, Hafny! As for the mirrors themselves, we are very pleased. Each mirror has a reflector that sits high on the bike, allowing oncoming vehicles to better see the bike. The mirror surface produces an image as clear as a traditional glass mirror, but is much less likely to break. The mirrors can be adjusted easily, but remain in place when riding. Even on our ebike, with no suspension, the image does not shake or blur. Having a mirror-image, matched pair looks great on the bike. The only consideration is mounting space. Our bike has somewhat large ebike controls and brake lever mounted directly next to the hand grip. That moves the mirror mount fairly far inboard. On the opposite side, the shifter, hand brake, and bell are mounted next to the hand grip, forcing the mirror mount closer to the stem. This puts the rider's arms partially in the field of view of the mirror. It works fine, but another centimeter of length on the mounting arms would be my only suggestion for improvement. On a traditional bike, this would probably not be an issue. You can see the mount and reflectors in the attached pictures.

I have two of these and am using them on ebikes. They work great, stay in place with good hardware and I can see around easily but I am not a big person and I realize there's complaints from people whose bodies are too big to see around but just know that Hafny is really good. The variety of adjustments are excellent with very little loosening if you adjust them a lot but they can be tightened with supplied hex wrenches at any time.

First impressions: the Hafny mirror is a well made (Taiwanese) product, a step above many of the competing low priced mirrors on Amazon. Installation was a snap: install the clamp on your handlebars, insert the mirror shaft, and tighten. With included shims it should fit handlebars from 21-26 mm. The mirror height and angle are easily adjustable with a ball joint and Allen screw, and the mirror could be placed above or below the handlebar, depending on personal preference. The oval shape gives somewhat better coverage than the usual round mirror. (The mirror I purchased is designed for left side mount but another model is available for right side use.) The only caveat is that for good vision it is important to install the mirror's mounting clamp as close to the grip as possible. It will work best therefore on straight mountain bike type handlebars but the shaft is long enough for cruiser bars as well. However, this mirror design seems to vibrate more on rough pavement than the mirrors that inserted in the bar ends. Another advantage of this type of mirror is being able to avoid cutting a hole in the end of your handlebar grip.

Very happy with this. It's the only mirror I've found that gives an unobstructed view with my butterfly handlebars, a.k.a. trekking or euro touring bars. I mounted the mirror below the bar, so I used a right side mirror on the left side (see pic). A bit heavy at 130g, but experience has shown these to be very robust. Re some complaints others mentioned: - I've yet to find a mirror that won't break when the bike falls over if the mirror extends beyond the handlebars. I positioned this one so if the bike does fall, the handlebar hits first. - The stainless steel mirror's image is adequate, as good as plastic mirrors IMO. I wouldn't want a glass mirror on my bike, in case of a crash. - Size is ideal IMO. - It's easy to keep adjusted if you tighten it up a bit at the ball.

They worked well enough but they are fragile. One broke off when I had it in back of my truck. I was and am still very disappointed.

Some bike mirrors make you cut a hole in your handle grip to install. I wanted one that clamped onto the handlebar, so I didn't have to ruin my grip. This mirror accomplished that goal. It is fairly sturdy and highly adjustable. The field of view is small, but it's an acceptable tradeoff for its sleek size. It wasn't the easiest to install. I third person to hold it in place while you fiddle with the screws is recommended. I like that it has a little reflector on the non-mirror side. Weird, but I just do.

I like the look, they are very light, and the mirror glass is flawless. Bought two, one for my wife's bike too. Once mounted and adjusted and the screws tightened, they don't move. There is a little vibration while riding, but not excessive. You can definitely see when someone is coming up to pass on the bike path. We bought only the left side mirror as that is where most of the passing takes place, and are happy with the results.

Bought this for wife's bike. I have the HD version on my bike which is better quality BUT does reduce the light amount a little - which for low light riding conditions could be an issue for some. This version does NOT reduce the light unlike the HD mirror. In either case a good mirror. Some users have complained the Hafny mirrors wabble and don't hold their position. Initially I was thinking the same thing. However the mirror stiffness can be adjusted by a Allen wrench (5mm I think). Which works well. I carry the wrench with me since I have a folding bike and need to reposition the mirror for folding and re-tighten before riding.

Very sturdy, perfect for petal bike or chopper bike. Sleek looking. Mirror is very clear and adjustable.

I mounted this so that the mirror is above, rather than below, the handle bar end and it gives a great rear view which is very reassuring in use. I was pleased that the mounted stalk is plenty long enough and the stainless steel mirror works well, much safer and stronger than a glass mirror. Also, it's very well made, very nicely styled and doesn't look naff like some others do. I'll be buying another one for my second bike.

Excellent produit. Bien conçu, avec une attache étroite -important pour mettre au +près de la poignée- mais solide. Bonne courbure du support qui laisse de la place pour la main, et surtout réglage facile de la partie miroir, qui se replie facilement vers l'intérieur en cas de choc, ou qd on appuie le vélo sur un mur, etc ... les miroirs sont petits et discrets, mais offrent une bonne visibilité, avec assez de report pour voir l'arrière et pas son bras comme certains. Cher pour sa catégorie au premier abord, mais apparemment vaut son prix (en remplacement d'un rétro a axe alu qui a cassé au bout de 3 mois). Attention au gauche droite. Pas fait attention, le 1er est arrivé en droit. Du coup j'ai les 2 ...

Es algo diferente de lo que se puede ver, es original, y de muy buena cualidad. Mi gusta, lo recomiendo a 100 %

Buono specchietto per biciclette, esteticamente gradevole, è abbastanza piccolo da non risultare ridicolo montato su una bici, è completamente in plastica vibra un po e di conseguenza l'immagine riflessa traballa ma comunque sufficiente per vedere chi arriva da dietro, lo specchio rimpicciolisce in modo da avere una più ampia visione, considerando il costo basso do 5 stelle per il rapporto qualità prezzo
