German All–in–One For Dummies: with CD

good book, many paper but no use :)))))not good for self training

The book it's completely in black and white, nothing catches your attention and quite massive.It's boring and doesn't give you any help for your study, specially if you are starting to study German you just want to close it and search information online!It's not for dummies at all and I really would like to know how can people say they like the layout of this book!I really don't suggest to buy this book.

I was going through vocabulary list and found an error in the first chapters: Spiegel translated as a faucet, whereas of course translation is a mirror. This undermined my confidence in the book and i returned it.

Haven’t started using it yet so can’t comment On content, however it arrived with kink in it which I am pretty annoyed about as it’s a present. However as it’s a present I don’t have time to return it but pretty annoyed it arrived damaged, that should not happen.

As with all dummies books, the layout is excellent and the learning is in bite sized chunks. Have used other books in the past to try and learn German, but this is excellent value for money and is a great basis to to get talking German.

Very informative. A very thick book indeed but you can just skip to the section you want to learn. This is 5 books in 1. Well worth the money.
