can i use this on a wall mount electric fireplace vent?

Maybe with an electric fireplace, however this is not that wide. If it’s A magnetic front, and not very big, check the measurements, it might work.

How tall is this? Our floor vent is under a piece of furniture and we have 21/2" clearance.

Actually mine is on the ceiling and drops no more than 3" from the ceiling. I have a Galley kitchen and there is no need to have heat skewing out the sides onto the cabinets.
