Where does the thermal pad attach to the case?

the metal casting on the inside of the case has a pillar extending out for the purpose of touching the heat pad on the processor and moving heat to the metal case.

does the power supply can be connected to a 220 w network?

you mean 220 Volts? look at the power supply on bottom.. it should tell you what the voltage range is (input voltage). but if you are using a different power supply other than what is suggested, you may risk ruining the Pi. I would suggest you get the correct one for it. Bill
