I did and as they are compression socks, they are not the easiest things to get on, but once on, very comfortable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Got what I paid for - Quality and efficiency *by D***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 April 2022* I’m an older Paramedic now working in Primary Care and spend a lot of time on my feet. After 20 years of running around after patients, I started getting signs of superficial and varicose veins to my lower legs. I have patients a few years older than me with swollen lower legs, ulceration, pain etc and reducing or limited mobility second to this. They are typically treated with compression hosiery often by district nurse colleagues in the community if the patient is housebound. I run (plod!) 5k twice a week. One of our district nurses is older too and in training for marathon and we had a chat about getting older and the toll work takes. She recommended Stox for running and work as a reliable, long-lasting and appropriate appliance. I’d never really looked at my legs objectively and considered preventative measures for myself later in life.I’m not paricularly muscular in my legs and my calves are soft and averagely proportioned to my ankle and measuring is important when considering buying online direct rather than through a health care professional.I have been using Stox for a week now and felt improvement immediately. I hadn't really been aware that my lower legs were in fact achey and heavy until I wore Stox. Now my feet feel lighter. Muscle action feels more toned and prompt. I can stand long hours vaccinating without even thinking about my feet. My 5k plod is a breeze now.They have made a difference that I wasn’t aware I needed and there’s reassurance that they’re at least slowing down the onset of those venous insufficiency signs which creep on as we get older and more so as we become less mobile.I’m independent and wish to stay so.
