Works great but a little annoying to set up with Xbox controllers
First off let me say if you’re interested in getting this make sure you have access to a PC or Laptop to get the most out of it, as you will need to update this manually. Updating it is pretty easy just make sure not to unplug it as it’s installing or yours might go back to factory like mine did. Easy to fix just have to update it correctly and disconnect it correctly. Ps4 users or people who will use those controllers they work great and really easily. I don’t mainly play on Xbox so not sure if it my fault or what but I had a hell of a time setting up the controller but once it worked it worked great. I can unplug the adapter and plug it into another switch and the controller is automatically working. Just don’t forget to turn on the switch setting for wired controllers! Only complaint is the controller will always say it’s full battery and then randomly die when it’s out of juice, and in my experience it might start to lag or stutter if the battery is low. Just pop new battery’s in or charge up your controller and it will work just fine again!

Works great
My daughter wanted this to connect a ps4 controller to the switch. She set it up and was very easy to do and works great. She loves it and uses it all the time.

Great money saver and great if you just prefer the PS4 and Xboxone controllers
This neat little device allows you to connect a PS4 or Xbox1 controller to the switch and it works flawlessyly. However I have to mention that I found out that this works with all PS4 controllers as they are all connected to their respected consoles through bluetooth but the Xbox one controllers are not all bluetooth, but its apparently not difficult to find out if your Xb1 controller is bluetooth and all it takes is a quick google search to find out. all I remember is it has something to do with the area around the home button that gives it away. Also I should mention id you like using motion controls you will be limited with the PS4 controller and the Xboxone controller has zero capabilities for motion control use. Other than that you can connect up to one PS4 or Xbox one controller to the device and then start playing all your games from there with no issues so its great to use if you prefer the PS4 and Xboxone controllers or even if you have some said systems laying around and want to save some money on rather than out right buying a switch controller or another set of joycons.

An absolute godsend for a physically disabled gamer
As as disabled gamer with weak arms I cannot comfortably hold heavy/large controllers. I synced a PS4 controller to my switch and it works great! Did not even need a firmware update. This device is fantastic! People giving this thing a bad review don’t know how to set it up. I did a quick google search and found the setup manual! Amazing little device totally worth the money!

Plug and play
This was plug and play. Simple. I plugged it right into my switch doc. Went into the settings and turned on pro controller wired communication, then held down the home and share button on my Dual Shock 4 ( PS4 controller ) to turn into into Bluetooth paring mode. There is a button on the 8bit you press to pair and the two connected immediately. No lag no connection drop and now I have my favorite controller on the switch. It also works with the sync button on Xbox 1 controllers. If you are for some reason using a PS3 or older controller in 2020 you will have to plug the 8bit into the computer to configure it first. There will be a card with customer service email on it for any questions. All in all a great product. I’m going to get a second one for my PC.
