Review: YOU CAN STAND UP IN THIS TENT - Two Weeks ago I went camping with a group of people - one was an acquaintance who had recently bought this tent. We all had different tents and hers was far superior because she fit a whole twin sized bedframe in her tent along with futon mattress and a table-she could stand up in her tent to change and actually had a large sturdy room. The rest of us had low tents we had to crouch around inside and when the wind blew the tentS hers held up well while our tents kept whipping around in the wind and hitting us and waking us up. The next morning she was far more cheerful than everyone else 🙂 Fast forward 2 weeks and THIS TENT WAS PRETTY REASONABLE so I bought in a color I LOVE (I was happy there were so many color choices because I got a teal tent and she has an orange one-I think mine blends in with the environment a little better!!) and went camping again. There are many things I love about this tent and only one complaint. I love the big size (it's the size of a small room in a house!) and the very sturdy legs of the tent and the height. It has the 3 poles in the top to hold the top out, but then it has these wonderful long sturdy legs on all 4 sides that are so easy to install securely that give it the height and also are not part of the top assembly so hold the tent more intact in the wind! I like the fact that it has four windows and the mesh hammock in the top is a great place to put a light at night and it also has two mesh pockets on opposite sides of the tent well off the ground to store cell phones and flashlights. I also feel like the poles are a little thicker and a very good quality-I have had fiberglass poles splinter over time in the past and this tent seems like it will hold up a better with the thick, study metal poles.The tent was easy to set up and take down and fit nicely in the bag again (in the past it has been a struggle to get a tent back in its bag so I appreciate the little extra room in the bag so it is not such a huge struggle). After one weekend of camping it I think it might be the nicest tent I have owned as far as ease of set-up and comfort inside. The one thing I would have liked is for the door to have double zippers. In order to open or close the door you have to run the single zipper all the way from the top to the bottom in a very long C shaped track every time. You can’t zip the bottom zipper up a bit to keep out your friend’s little dogs and the zipper is nothing special (not YKK) -I am worried that over time the one zipper is going to start sticking along its long path and break. All of the windows have double zippers so I am not sure why they did not put one on the door. All in all this is a great tent at this price point. As usual with all tents I think it might be a struggle to fit 6 people in this one tent, but in my experience all tent size estimates assume there are going to be 6 very small people with no gear sleeping on the ground so this is not shocking. I think you could realistically fit maybe two adults and maybe 1 or 2 children on a mattress and maybe some gear in the tent comfortably at the most.I like separate camping cots and I can’t see putting more than 3 in there. I will still give it 5 out of 5 stars unless that ONE zipper in the door breaks and then I will be back to pitch a fit (hopefully it will hold up!)
Review: Sturdy against the rainstorm - I loved this tent! I usually hammock camp but this time I was camping with my dogs and bf. The tent stood up against a rain storm with winds ranging 20-26 mph and 4.7 inches of rain. The only water that got in was at the corners where the seams meet. Everything stayed dried inside so long as they weren’t rubbing up against the walls that obviously got wet during the rain. The walls of the tent are not made of the same materials as the rain fly. The tent fit our full mattress and could fit a queen mattress and we still had space for the dogs and our stuff. The windows on each wall of the tent allowed for great ventilation. My only complaint would be the front door zipper has a flap where the zipper would often get caught. Setup and take down was easy.

**Q: What is floor material thickness and will in puncture easily?**
A: I don't know what the thickness is.  But it seems pretty normal for a tent.  I usually put a tarp under the tent for extra protection.  I sit a cot in the tent with kind of pointy feet and it has not punched through.  I have used it around 8 nights so far.  I am pretty happy overall for the price.

**Q: Does this tent come with a tarp to place underneath?**
A: Only the section that was attached to the tent no extra tarp

**Q: Is this suitable for indoor use without using tent stakes, which would prob'ly not do my hardwood floors any good?**
A: Maybe you could use weights or sand bags inside in the corners to keep it in place. I've done this with outdoor tents when I couldn't use stake on concrete pads or hard packed dirt

There are many things I love about this tent and only one complaint. I love the big size (it's the size of a small room in a house!) and the very sturdy legs of the tent and the height. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Starter Tent

Bought this for a first time camping. It was very easy to figure out to put up. (The instructions where kinda confusing but with a bit of thinking we figured em out.) It held up well through a storm and kept rain out. It also can fit a queen air mattress and a twin air mattress. It was a bit of a tight fit but definitely doable. The mesh windows on all sides were very appreciated for ventilation and we only got one moth inside (fault of us). There's also a hook on the top that was very convenient for hanging a lamp and pockets on the side walls for phones and wallets. There was also a pre-made covered hole for a power cord that was very handy. Disassembly was pretty easy, especially with the knowledge of putting it together however with most products like this, its hard to get it folded up small enough to fit inside the carrier again but definitely possible. Overall a very beginner friendly tent for a first timer on a budget.
