do you put toast in this?

What??? No, you put bread in and it toast the bread into toast!!!!

Does the bagel setting toast one side of the bagel only?

It toasts both sides. What's the point of a "Bagel" setting that toasts both sides? (I'm not sure what they mean in product description as leaving the "bottom" of a bagel soft, as none my bagels are labeled "top" and "bottom." In any case, it toasts the same all around.) Not a deal breaker for me, I guess, as it's too much of a hassle to return, but very disappointing, and blatantly false advertising. If you're buying this primarily for bagels, forget it.

In what country is this made?

China. Everything’s made in china.. We’ll everything except babies. They’re made in Va-China.

Does it beep when the toast is done?

This machine does not beep when the toast is done.
