The material of the chair is a very soft linen/wool like fabric. Not sure of the proper term, but its soft and not harsh. Its a horizontal sprung cushion, so it is very comfortable. The workmanship is very good and assembly is easy. Make sure when assemling the legs that the threaded inserts are to the outside. The chair is simply put together by unzipping the handy cover underneath, and there are 8 allen bolts to insert. =====|=/=[ ] Flat washer against the wood, springwasher between the washer and bolt head. All in all, a lovely product that works well with dressing tables. Nice sturdy chair. Why pay for a hard dressing table stool, this chair is so much better and only a few quid more.

**Q: Weight limit on these chairs?**
A: Not much, I’m 9 stone and it didn’t even last a few days!! Do not buy this chair

**Q: What is the height of the seat, NOT the back, from the floor?**
A: 18.5 inches to the top edge of the seat cushion. The middle of the seat is of course slightly higher because of the seat padding.

**Q: How long are the legs? Trying to work out height of seat as want to use as a dining chair**
A: Don’t buy it, very poor quality

**Q: Is the back of the chair upright instead of feeling like you are laying back?**
A: No chair is upright and strong and comfortable to sit on

I spend hours at the computer each day, and in future more work will be done from home, so I bought my back a virus-time gift. This one is actually perfect as a computer chair. Very easy to put together, sturdy yet light to move around, soft seat that doesn’t sag at all, and it’s oh so comfortable! It’s great for typing and great for leaning back and screen reading. My back is very grateful to me. Really glad I risked it.
