I did not expect this to work as well as it did! Definitely recommend it if you want a budget make over! Change our kitchen to look great and warm. Quality it's great. So far it's not peeling, no bubbles anywhere. The colour looks almost real wood not over shiny. 100% recommend

Has definitely made the old dark counter top look 100% better. It took longer than I thought it would to put it on. There was a fair bit of learning on the job, how to apply it without getting bubbles or creases. There are reviews talking about kits you can buy that help you apply it. I'm rather impulsive, so I cleared and cleaned the surface. Used a huge decorating spongen to try and smooth it down as you apply it, but it was easier to use my forearm. A butter knife for scoring the vinyl on the edges of the sink and hob. Double sided tape around the edges (counter tops, around sink and hob and just under the counter) to try and help it to last longer. Stanley knife to trim around hob and sink, then a flat wooden spoon to poke it under the counter and help it stick. I will silicone around the sink n hob. I'm dubious as to whether it will last around the sink.. But hay, it's cost me £27 to revamp my kitchen tops.

I never write reviews but had to for this one! I’m so impressed with the quality and finish of this product - the value for money is insane! It took 45 minutes to transform an old unit. The self adhesion made it easy to lay, hardly any bubbles at all and as long as you have a little smoothing kit (or credit card) the vinyl is so easy to use. Feels and looks fantastic, and seems to be pretty durable so far. Looks exactly like natural wood. Very, very happy and will purchase again to complete my window sill next! For less than a tenner you won’t be disappointed.

Purchase to do my breakfast bar. Was tired of the grey worktops. The colour is perfect. Very simple to use, even for a novice like me. Made a slight bubble, lifted and replaced and stuck again perfectly . I Love the look so much, I've decided to purchase more to do the entire kitchen. Only negative is took a while to be delivered.

Good quality product, was pretty tricky to lay down in a Victorian property with wonky surfaces but after a lot of patience, it was all worth the stress !

Ich habe inzwischen mehrere Folien von dc-fix verarbeitet und damit bereits Fensterbänke sowie eine Tür foliert. Diese Folie habe ich verwendet, um eine in die Jahre gekommene Fensterbank aufzufrischen. Optik Die Holzoptik wirkt hochwertig und realistisch. Eine fühlbare Holzstruktur gibt es zwar nicht, die Oberfläche ist glatt. Optisch fällt das jedoch nicht auf und die Fensterbank wirkt deutlich hochwertiger und moderner als vorher. Verarbeitung Nach gründlicher Reinigung der Fensterbank habe ich die Folie mit etwas Überstand zugeschnitten, nach und nach aufgebracht und mit einem Rakel glattgezogen. Für die Kanten und Ecken habe ich zusätzlich einen kleinen Heißluftfön verwendet. Dadurch lässt sich die Folie sehr gut anformen. Ein Tipp, den ich in einem Youtube-Video gesehen habe: Kleine Luftblasen müssen nicht zwingend wieder komplett abgezogen werden. Mit einer sehr feinen Nadel kurz einstechen und anschließend mit dem Fön erwärmen und die Luftblase kann mit dem Finger oder Rakel herausgedrückt werden. So verschwinden kleinere Luftblasen problemlos. Positiv überrascht hat mich die Robustheit. Selbst wenn man sich einmal verklebt, lässt sich die Folie wieder lösen und neu positionieren, ohne direkt einzureißen. Da habe ich bei einer Folie eines anderen Herstellers andere Erfahrungen gemacht. Qualität und Haltbarkeit Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob Folie auf der Fensterbank (im Bereich der Heizkörper) dauerhaft hält. Ich habe jedoch bereits weitere Fensterbänke im Haus mit dc-fix Folien beklebt. Auch nach einem Winter haben sich weder Kanten gelöst noch gab es optische Veränderungen. Die Folien sehen weiterhin aus wie am ersten Tag. Vorteile • realistische und hochwertige Holzoptik • sehr robust • lässt sich gut korrigieren und verarbeiten • bisher sehr gute Haltbarkeit auf Fensterbänken und Tür Nachteile • keine fühlbare Holzstruktur Fazit Für mich eine günstige und optisch überzeugende Möglichkeit, ältere Fensterbänke aufzuwerten. Wer etwas Zeit für die Verarbeitung mitbringt, kann damit sehr gute Ergebnisse erzielen.

La finitura è sorprendentemente realistica: le venature del legno sono ben definite e l’effetto visivo, una volta applicata, dona un tocco elegante e moderno. Applicazione: La pellicola è facile da tagliare e applicare grazie alla griglia sul retro, che aiuta a misurare e ritagliare con precisione. L’adesivo tiene bene, ma è anche possibile riposizionarla nei primi minuti senza lasciare residui, cosa molto utile in caso di piccoli errori. Resistenza: Dopo alcune settimane di utilizzo, posso confermare che resiste bene all’umidità e alle pulizie quotidiane con un panno umido. Non si stacca né si rovina facilmente, anche in zone più soggette all’usura come ante e cassetti. Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Ottimo. È un’alternativa economica al rifacimento completo dei mobili e consente di ottenere un effetto “nuovo” con poca spesa e minimo sforzo. Conclusione: Perfetta per chi vuole rinnovare casa in modo semplice, veloce e fai-da-te.

Rendu très joli. Beaucoup plus réaliste que les rouleaux adhésifs que j'avais achetés précédemment chez Brico Leclerc. La pose reste toutefois assez délicate, car le film est très fin. Malgré toutes les précautions prises, il subsiste de nombreuses petites bulles. Heureusement, elles peuvent être corrigées avec un peu de minutie et beaucoup de patience. Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat, qui a redonné un vrai coup de neuf à mes portes.
