Yes. The SATA connectors are pass-thru type on this device, unlike many drive docks. I installed this device solely for system imaging backup/restoration and confirmed my restored drive is bootable.However, do note that the compactness of the 2-drive designs means the HDD can get toastily hot! Even with only 1 x 3.5in HDD it can get very toasty, but a single 2.5in SSD will be perfectly fine ...
