I bought this mainly for making thin veggie strips and salad toppings, and it’s actually been really handy. The blades feel sharp enough to cut through carrots, cucumbers, and potatoes pretty easily without needing heaps of pressure. I also like that it works as both a normal peeler and a julienne peeler, so it saves drawer space compared to having separate tools. It’s lightweight and simple, but it does the job well for quick everyday cooking. The julienne side is especially good for stir fries, garnishes, or making vegetables feel a bit more interesting without much effort. Just need to be careful because the blades are definitely sharp. Overall, a practical little kitchen gadget for the price.

As with any other sharp object, I encourage any beginner with using this culinary instrument to guard the fingers while washing and using it. This peeler can easily scrape away skin.
