Credo che la GLOBAL non abbia bisogno di presentazioni, il suo acciaio, l’affilatura, il design e l’altissima qualità sono indiscutibili. Premetto che sono un cuoco professionista e quindi pretendo una certa affidabilità dai miei “ferri del mestiere”, anni fa ho comprato una serie di coltelli della Global e vi assicuro che sono eccezionali, naturalmente bisogna averne cura e saperli usare. Le forbici erano l’unico perno mancante della mia serie, mi chiederete il perché, beh la mia perplessità nel comprarle nasceva a motivo della loro impugnatura insolita... in pratica sono 2 triangoli. Ho sempre creduto che risultassero scomode nell’uso quotidiano... ma mi sono ricreduto, perfette sotto ogni aspetto, peso, forma, grandezza e affilatura. Ne ho comprate diverse nella mia carriera lavorativa anche di altre marche tedesche prestigiose ma non sono all’altezza di queste. Giustifico pienamente il costo che hanno, quindi ne consiglio assolutamente l’acquisto!!!

I didn't really need this pair of scissors. I already had a quite-nice pair that did everything I asked it to, with ease. But I really liked the look of these and in my opinion life is too short not to use awesome scissors when it's time to cut something. Also, I'd first seen them locally in a shop for about £90 and coveted them so at £60 or so these seemed inexpensive by comparison. It was my big chance to live like the Power Elite. Anyway, yes, they're great. They make cutting things not just a mindless task you hardly notice but a transcendent experience that makes you feel alive. You pick them up: wow, that feels good. Nice heft. I'm living now, you tell yourself. Really living. You cut a thing: wow, that feels good. So easy, so smooth. So well made. Such quality. Powerful. Nice action. Nice sound. I suppose they're made for poultry or something and I did use it for that once and it was amazing but normally I just use them for paper, just because it's a superb experience. If you're any kind of blade/scissors person, go on. Get them. You'll love them. Your life will be that little bit richer and more elegant. Yes, they're expensive. No, you don't need them. Will you regret having them? Not a chance.

Sehr gut verarbeitet, liegt für mich gut in der Hand, habe kleine Hände, ich denke es passt auch für grosse Hände. Schere ist sehr scharf, mit feiner Zahnung, wie es sein soll. Es könnte beim Nachschärfen schwierig werden die Zahnung beizubehalten. Muss man halt die andere, glatte Seite wählen. Interessant ist, dass die Schere "Made in China" ist, im Gegensatz zu den Global Messern und den anderen Global Werkzeugen, wie z. B. Palletten und Pfannenwendern, die ich besitze. Die sind alle "Made in Japan". Habe die Rückseite der Verpackung mit der Beschreibung beigefügt. Die negativen Rezensionen bezüglich der Haptik und der Qualität der Schere verstehe ich nicht. Ich bin kein Freund der Messer von Global, die halten einfach die Schärfe nicht, sind nicht geschmiedet sondern aus einem großen Blech gestanzt. Liegen ansonsten aber gut in der Hand, sind sehr gut verarbeitet, sehr gut ausgewogen. Habe meine Global Messer alle weitergegeben. Die Schere ist für mich ein sehr gutes Produkt. Ob der Preis in der Höhe gerechtfertigt ist, weiß ich nicht. Ist halt Global. Diese Küchenwerkzeuge kauft man sich wahrscheinlich nur einmal im Leben. So wie diese Schere.

These are the best things you can ever have in your knife drawer. Use them for everything and easy to clean. Use to cut poultry, trim herbs and everything else I can use on them.

I have tried many styles of scissors and was always frustrated that they always ended up NOT being able to cut properly. Usually it ended up that just the first few inches of the scissors retained it's ability to cut. I was at a friend’s house and she had this exact model and I used it to open some cellophane and cardboard packaging and much to my amazement, it cut through both materials like a knife cutting thriugh soft butter. MY experience with cellopne is that when you try to cut it with a scissors it almost always gets tangled. Not so with these scissors. A fast, clean and easy cut. so, I then ordered them from Amazon and have been happily using them ever since.
