Homdox 20-inch 62cc 2 Stroke Gas Powered Chain Saw 4.2HP Tree Chainsaw F6200

I bought this saw to cleanup a 150+ year old sugar maple that came down during the last severe thunderstorm. I'm a homeowner and by no means an expert with a chainsaw, but have used a chainsaw many times. I currently own a 39cc 16" Poulan which was just way too small to handle the size of the tree that fell. I did not want to invest a lot of money in a larger 20-22" chainsaw because I would only need to occasionally use a saw that size. I read all of the reviews and watched several YouTube videos on this saw and decided to give it a try. Fedex Smartpost ended up losing the first saw that was shipped, but the seller was very responsive and sent me a replacement saw. I am very pleased with this saw. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and started up after about 3-4 pulls. I was able to cut branches from the maple tree (which is a very hard wood), up to about 15 inches in diameter (my little Poulan was having trouble with branches half that size). I would not hesitate to recommend this saw, or this seller.

I believe the reviewer that indicated that many of the reviews were fabricated by the seller is correct. The chainsaw is a complete piece of garbage. It is 62 CC, but it is remarkably less powerful than the smaller brand name saw I have. Furthermore, upon arrival the saw was soaked in oil (i.e. something must have leaked in transit). Instructions were borderline worthless (i.e., hand drawn diagrams that were too small to read) and the saw in the instructions was different than the actual saw that came. I could never get the oilier to operate properly. Have been working on returning with the company for the last 10 days or so....so far no luck. Save your money, buy a smaller name brand saw for a similar price and get a better more powerful saw and less frustration.

Very disappointed with this purchase. The manual did not reflect the actual product and referred to components that are clearly not relevant for the latest model. Once assembled, the item was very flimsy. The pull cord broke off before it could be started the first time. The seller's solution was for me to go to a repair store. Sorry, I don't want to spend four hours making up for a poor product.

too much oil comes out every time I use it. Everything is covered in oil. Instructions are in broken English. hard to understand things like - turn screw. Which screw? Where is it?

I LOVE IT, PULLED IT ONE TIME AND IT FIRED RIGHT UP...........

The saw runs very well as much or more power than my 026 StihlMonica & Clair are very good customer service reps and helped me with what I needed and in a timely manner

It took a little effort to get started the first time, but works great now. This is a good chain saw for the money. I cut down three 25-30 foot trees in one day with no problems.

I had to adjust the Low and High jets on the carb and adjust the idle but it cuts good and has a lot of power. It comes with all the tools you need to keep it running good. I would recommend a extra chain if you cut a lot though.
