They are very dark. Nobody can see my eyes through the lenses.

Q: Why does the description not jive with the list of specifications? Ie: polarized non-polarized, acetate frame but in QA is said to be rubber.

Because there are several options of these glasses. Read the descriptions on all of them.

Hello Ellen,The RayBan RB2132 811/32 style already comes in polarized version. The style number for the polarized version is RB2132 622/58 which is Rubber Black/Polar Green.
