CEH v10 Certified Ethical Hacker Study Guide

This is a great book. I’d say that it addresses at least 98% of the exam content(which is more than enough to pass).I passed the CEH V10 today ( Jan 27 2020 ) and wouldn’t have passed without either a classroom or this book. I used the book 100% to pass.Having taken the CEH exam, I must highlight that the exam itself is NOT value for money. £1300 in the UK - exam full of typos, bad grammar and one question where all the multiple choice answers were wrong! BTW I scored 123 out of 125.But to reiterate , the book is top quality ( and better quality than the content that EC CouncilProduce). Obviously the book wasn’t weitten by them!! Lol.Hats off to the author - attention to detail. Thanks!!!

Lots of detail but I was frustrated that the material and flow deviated from the official EC courseware. I found myself constantly going backwards and forwards when trying to make notes.

Poor index of terms at the back for quick reference and specific official exam objectives seem elusive. Terms very broadly used.

...darauf zu warten, denn das Erscheinungsdatum wurde mehrfach verschoben. Aber das Buch ist schon gelungen. Ich habe unter anderem CEH v9 und wollte mich über die neuen Themen in v10 informieren. Tatsächlich hat die Lektüre - bin noch nicht ganz durch - auch mein Verständnis der bisher schon enthaltenen Themen wirklich vertieft, wie ich ehrlich zugeben muss, weil der Autor die Dinge etwas anders anpackt und darstellt als gewohnt. So wird im Kapitel über Malware auch intensiv über deren Analyse gesprochen, und zwar in einem Umfang, wie man ihn eher in einem Buch über digitale Forensik erwarten würde. Das braucht man vielleicht nicht für die CEH-Prüfung, der Platz ist aber trotzdem gut inverstiert. Ich habe auch noch in keinem anderen Buch eine Behandlung von Zeus und WannaCry gesehen, die werden höchstens mal erwähnt. Es gibt an vielen Stellen kleine Ergänzungen des Standardstoffs, die wirklich interessant sind, beispielsweise eine Beschreibung des Ablegens eines Payloads direkt in der Registry (Registry persistence from Metasploit), sehr nett. Ob ich nur mit diesem Wissen ausgestattet die Prüfung bestanden hätte kann ich schwer sagen, meine Erinnerung ist etwas verblasst, aber lesenswert ist das Buch unbedingt. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es, weil als Neuerung in v10 speziell IoT-Hacking angekündigt war, und dazu habe ich in dem Buch nicht viel gefunden, da bin ich etwas enttäuscht.

The book is good .when compared to cehv9 there are no changes in the book. The only advantage is the book has updated the tools with latest version explore the untouched tools and repos .the only disappointment is the book nearly 25 days to get delivered
