THERMOS ALTA SERIES Stainless Steel Tumbler 18 Ounce, Matte Steel/Espresso Black

As far as I am concerned this is the best "thermos" jug out there! It is sturdy and holds the liquid hot or cold almost for the entire day. Mine has been dropped, fallen out of my moving ATV, rolled down a hill, and Lord knows what else and it still works just fine. It is easy to hold and it is probably the most dependable item I own! I love the top because it does not leak and I can slide the opening strip back with one finger. It is a plain, but highly functional design and well worth the money.

I love this thermos-----had one for years and lost it so glad I was able to replace it-------keeps the beverage hot all day---it fits easily into the drink holder in the car very comfortable in your hand, perfect size---I had purchased a less expensive replacement but was difficult to align the handle with the drink spout and it didn't fit nicely in to drink holder in car, too bulky just uncomfortable---I had purchased the original Thermos at Costco for 2 for $25 (a few years ago) so this was a little pricey but worth it.

I had an older version of this mug for like 10 years and had to get a new once because the top started to get cracked from putting in my bag and it was cutting my lips. Glad they still make this mug so I got a new one and it's great. Keeps my coffee hot for a very long time and doesn't spill as long as the part under the lid is fully locked into position. The newer one is even easier to lock in place. I might even buy a couple more to stock up in case they ever decide to stop making them. Forget those other name brands - buy this for its functionality!

This replaced a much-loved (and banged-up) Thermos King travel mug I'd had for years and lost somewhere downtown. The thermal capability and spill integrity are still stellar. I find the pebbled finish of the exterior easier to hold than the glossy finish of the King. The open/close slider is a bit easier than the "turn flap" of the . And the new design for the cap is easier to clean that previous versions. So far, so good. It's the reassembling the cap after cleaning that has to be done in a very specific way. The open/close slider has to be in the open position when reassembling the rubber gasket and the plunger/plug. If you have the slide in the closed position, the rubber gasket will hang up on the underside of the lid or come off entirely. But if you take this one precaution you, too, will be happy with this sleek baby!

Good quality, value for money, ease of use and lightweight

I've had it for 7 months, keeps coffee hot as. The size is great for a car cup holder and its durable I've dropped it many times and no dents yet. The seal works great there has not been any spills when putting it on the side bag of a backpack.

Top broke within 6 months

Great loved it

You have to let the tea or coffee get to the desired temperature and then close lid. It's scalding hot when you put close the lid. It will stay that way. I learned that the hard way and it was almost an hour later

Bought this for red date tea after pregnancy. It is able to keep the drink hot for hours on end.

I was looking for a big one.. Then I found this. I am totally satisfied

Una vez más Thermo no me decepciona, buen producto, buena calidad, fácil de lavar y ensamblar, mantiene las bebidas calientes o frías por bien tiempo.
