Changed for the worse
We have been buying these lights from Ostek for a while. I’m not sure why they changed the design, but it is not for the better. The fixture came in an e26 instead of an e39 with no adapter, two of the lights didn’t work and the lamp seems longer as they are harder to fit in the fixture. The locking device for the screw turn does not hold the bulb from turning. There is even misspelling on the packaging ! Definitely going to go with another seller from now on.

Very Bright
The only thing I didn't like about this was that I misjudged the size of the screw in part. I thought it would fit in a regular socket. I needed to get an electrician to wire me up the correct adapter, but once that was done, this light gave me quite a bit of light for the dark entrance to my garage. It's in an alleyway that has always been scary to enter, but now with this light, it feels quite safe when I enter and get out of my truck to go into my house. I imagine any light might do, but I needed something smaller than a parking lot type light, and solar lights wouldn't work as it's dark even during the day. This fits the bill perfectly!

Great light color super super bright with only 54 Watts energy cost.
Great light color super super bright with only 54 Watts energy cost. The light is not the undesired HID Mercury blue light or the HID Sodium yellow light. I installed this LED bulb in my “Old University” style surplus property auction horizontal beautiful glass street lamp hanging over my front porch. Wow, this is super bright while using only 54 watts of energy costs. I have it set up as dusk-to-dawn and the house light sensor instantly turns it on and off with no flicker. WARNING this light has a commercial style large E39 Mogul base instead of the normal inside the house sized E26 Edison base.

Wow, this thing is bright!
I replaced a 200 watt metal halide bulb and this thing was so much brighter I had to paint the glass of the fixture to soften the light. That's not a complaint though, is buy more of these.

Make sure you've got the right type of socket
This light has a large base as it is designed to replace high-output outdoor lighting. Make sure it fits the base you have. Very bright.
