can i have extra keys made for this?

Yes but only from a lock smith. It’s an odd key blank

How many cubic inches?

Hello, Thanks for reaching out! The product dimension is 23.6 x 10.2 x 15.1 inch, so it is 3634.8 cubic inches in total. If you have any other question, please feel free to let us know. Thanks.

What is the width of the drawers themselves when measured from outside edge to outside edge? I need them to fit through the opening on a utility bed.

Hello Dennis, We appreciate your reaching out! The width of top six small drawers is 6 inch. And width of the bottom three drawers is 20-1/8 inch. Hope this can help you to fit your facility. Thanks TOJUNE OUTFITTERS

China. Where else? But... Not everything made in China is cheap. Unfortunately, this is cheaply made. Just like Michael Bartrum said, visit a Harbor Freight store and look at the U.S. General 26" top chest. The difference between the Workington, and the U.S. General is like the difference between a skateboard and a Porsche. Believe me........
