**Q: Would you recommend this device to record a noise from upstairs neighbours?**
A: It would depend on the nature of what you’re recording the noise from the neighbours for?  Would it pick up noise for, let’s say, loud music or banging, then yes.  However, if it’s intended purpose was to record for evidential purposes, then I would suggest just using the video record function on a smart phone.  Recording and playback from a device such as this, although quite good, may result in ambiguity when played back by someone other than yourself.

A: It records clearly just make sure its linked in with your computer to re play & erase

I bought this recorder for my mum so she could record conversations.
