These are good quality jacks, there are cheaper jacks on the market, but they're smaller, perhaps if the child is very young and has small hands that would be fine, but I find these to be more substantial and easier to pick up while playing. I like that they come with a little box to store them in. I think they make great gifts. A lot of children don't even know about Jack's anymore, when I was a young girl, I played them all the time with my friends, and we had so much playing jacks. It's time to introduce Jack's to this new generation of kids that have no idea what they are , ha ha ha 😂

They have a nice solid weight to them, not flimsy, and the ball has a good bounce for practicing the game. It brought back childhood memories, and my kids who’ve never played jacks before are obsessed. It’s simple, screen free fun that actually helps with hand eye coordination. We use it just for casual playing at home, but I can also see it being perfect for party favors or just keeping kids entertained without electronics.

I bought these for my granddaughter and they are just what I thought they'd be they're durable and fun and wonderful
