Wave Men's Waterproof Water Shoes

Made very well. Bought them for my husband and they look nice. Fit perfectly.

The Wave Men's Waterproof Shoes fit nicely and helps to keep me from slipping in the pool.

The shoe is meant for use in the water and navigating around your pool/beach area. I use them primary for walking around the house but after a while they tend to get hot with or without socks. For a Low price shoe it's real good but of course don't expect a comfort sole. Even though i didn't use them in the ocean i don't believe they will slip off, they aren't that loose. Material may wear and tear easy in dry land and rocks and color is as advertised. You have to understand this is like a slip on flat type shoe, If you wear a 10 in Nike/Adidas you maybe a 9 in a Vans/Converse. So the same rule applies here so go with a smaller size and they still may be a bit loose but that's because it's a cloth type shoe and any smaller size and you may have problems so stick with the one size smaller rule.

One of the padded inserts came loose during a trip to a local water park. I spent an hour contorting my foot too try and realign the insert. I finally gave up and just removed it. The padding was missed though. I'll try to fix it by using some shoe goo, but I am a little annoyed that I have to do this. My wife's pair had the same exact issue. Other than that: Stitching is ok. The tensioner had to be adjusted every now and then - it does not stay tight for more than 1/2. One foot stayed reasonably comfortable the entire time at the water park. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars and not 2.

These are very comfortable shoes that are good for lots of places. I wear these around the house, to the beach, and even for things like bicycling. The only thing they really aren't for is walking any distance. The soles do wear out fairly quickly. People complain about the insole coming out. Right, it does. But when new I just pull those out and glue them back in with clear silicone. Never a problem since. I have bought several pairs of these and I plan to wear them all out!

I would give these water shoes a zero if they let me. I am not sure what shoes are being reviewed by those who give anything other than zero or one star, but the ones I received are worthless junk as far as I'm concerned. My wife and I both ordered a pair of these from Amazon, for use in kayaking and canoeing. They fit pretty well and at first we were happy with them. But then we got them wet, and as we wore them around the campsite, they started disintegrating. We were in and out of the water, unloading the boat and setting up equipment at our campsite. First the insole came loose and wadded up under our toes. Shortly thereafter it came out all the way. We removed the insoles, since they were a nuisance if we kept them in. Since we didn't have any other shoes along for this short campout, we kept wearing them. With no insoles, they were like walking around on slabs of roughened rubber, which is probably exactly what we were doing. They did not dry out overnite, so in the morning when we got up, we put back on the wet, roughened slabs to break camp. When we got back home, I immediately changed to my flip flops, but my wife continued to wear hers. Now the outside soles of hers are shredding to pieces. I really doubt we'll ever use these again. Won't be long, they'll be in the trash. We'll keep using our old tennis shoes we keep around for our water sports.

This is my second pair. The previous pair lasted for 4 seasons of weekend hiking through water and rocks. Semi rough conditions. Despite a few manufacturing flaws like spots and streaks that shouldn't be there and rubber parts protruding where there wouldn't be extra material on the bottom. I believe they are worth the small price. I have purchased other branded water shoes only to get blisters and only one season of use out of them. I will stick with these in the future. Can't ask for anything better for the low price.
