Fit perfectly Easy Install
Put these on my husband's JVC headphones without issue (just had to be sure to have the correct side out on the inner plastic piece!) They fit perfectly, they are comfortable and he is thrilled to have his Noise Cancelling Headphones back (we are gearing up for a long airline flight!). Not sure how long they will last, but even if it isn't 6 years like the originals, they were a great price.

Worked fine on my JVC HANC250 headset.
Received these covers today. My old covers were completely worn and it was time for new ones. JVC wanted nearly $20 for EACH cover...not worth it (in my opinion). I installed the new ones (not difficult) and I'm currently listening to Peter Gabriel through them while I type this review. Feels the same. The only negative I have (which is why I only gave 4 stars) is that they are a bit smaller & thinner than the originals. I don't think it's going to be a huge problem so we'll see how well they last.I think these are worth the price and recommend them.Photos: Original is on LEFT. New is on RIGHT.

How to install your new ear pads
I was nervous about installing these because they came with no instructions. It's easy, though:1. With your fingernail or a butter knife, pop off the pads, which are on a plastic base. The right pad has an indention at the bottom so you can access the battery, but the left pad also pops off with a little leverage.2. You will need the plastic bases to install the new pads. Remove the old pads by pulling off the material around the edges of the plastic bases.3. Make sure that the word on the plastic base, "Up" is away from the pads. That side of the base will later clip back onto the headphones. A "R" indicates the base for the Right pad, and an L for the Left pad.4. Work the cup material around the opposite side of the plastic base. I found a butter knife useful for stretching the material onto the base.5. While you're at it, replace the battery in the right headphone, which powers both sides.6. Clip the plastic bases back onto the headphones. If they don't clip on easily, you have probably installed the plastic base backward. See above. It is so nice to have decent ear pads again.

but looks like we will have to anyway
Not as cushiony as the original. Tried these as a way to avoid spending the money on a brand new set of headphones, but looks like we will have to anyway.Note that they fit well, it's just that they are a tad slimmer / firmer

Too tight!
Super difficult to put on. It would be very easy to damage these pads while trying to put these on because the flap is smaller than the original. The original is large enough to easily fit around a ring of dense insulation that helps the pads fit securely to the plastic part. This replacement is not. I tried heating it as someone suggested and that did not help. The foam ring eventually ripped a bit while trying to get this on. Since it was torn I removed it. Then I was able to put it on. Now a gap appears due to the missing ring of insulation and I imagine I will lose some of the sound deadening benefits of these earphones. As a result I do not recommend this product. I suggest buying a replacement directly from the JVC accessor store. However, buying just one original replacement pad will cost you about $20. Although an original will work perfectly, and be very easy to install without wrecking the sound deadening properties of your headphones. After all, that is the main reason you bought these in the first place. If I had it to do over, that is what I would do. So buyer beware! Any reviews saying this is easy to put on are false.

Works As Advertised
The earpads are a snug fit over the original plastic connectors. It wasn't too difficult to get them on but did take some fiddling to get it done, maybe five minutes for each pad. So far they look very similar to the originals and don't show signs of failure but they have only been in use for a few weeks now.

too small for JVC HA-NC100
I have old JVC HA-NC100 headphones (about 10 years). Obviously the leatherette covering has deteriorated and was leaving black debris on ears. These pads are too small to fit it. The description says: "They are really good replacements for JVC HA-NC250 HA-NC260 HA-NC100 Noise Cancelling Headphones"The outside dimensions of my old pads are 2.75 x 3.5 inches. These pads are 2.5 x 3.0 inches. They are made exactly the same as the old ones. However, there is no way to stretch the soft interior ring to make them fit in the groove. They will tear before they stretch that far. For the time being I am using double stick tape to secure the new pads to the plastic cup. Looks crummy but it seems to work, Sound is okay. I do prefer the feel of the larger old pads.

Fits and Looks Like Original
My colleague borrowed my headphone for a week. And he could manage to damage it more than I had done it in 3 years. Not to tell about the sweaty smell. I was very disappointed. But luckily got this replacement fitting perfectly now. May be a bit tricky to slide this in. But once you do, works like new and original. What else to expect. Have been using now for about 3 months and no complains.
