Works great

So far so good. Got the 50ft variant, gave me more than enough room to run audio from a device behind my couch to my soundbar well in front of it. You do need to be sure to remove the plastic bulbs that cover the tips of the cable, otherwise it probably won't seat correctly and I guarantee if you do manage to jam it in the port, you won't get any sound out of it. Speaking of sound, no noticeable difference in sound quality or latency when compared to my previous cable I used (with soundbar behind my couch, awkward because the directional audio was inverted) which is a good thing. For the money, this is worth a try for your application. For reference, one of the largest chain stores carries an optical cable that's less than half the length for almost double the price.

This is an excellent quality cable! It provides more bandwidth than the old cable I was using. The construction is very durable and it resists kinking, which is important for fiber optics. It was also very reasonably priced.

The toslink connector didn't fit very good, I needed to apply extreme pressure to the connector in my Denon Receiver until it fit. It was even harder to connect the other end of the cable to my PC audio card. The manufacturing isn't the best, I compared these terminals with the other toslinks cables that I have at home, and the measures are sligthtly out of specifications. I finally was able to connect the cable, very worried since it looks that my receiver's and audio card toslink terminals could be damaged with this cable. Review edit, may 2016: Even if the fit of the cable isn't good, after the initial "force" that I needed to apply to connect the cable, I was able to reconnet it with less effort. Since the cable is working well, I decided to change my initial calification to a 4 stars, I think that the relation between price and perfomance is Ok.

You can’t beat the price for the quality. I would buy again!

Just what i ordered

Arrived on time and works great. I may have gotten one that is too long, but I just coiled it up behind the TV.

Used to connect audio through optical out of wall mounted TV to receiver.

I bought this cable to see if I could put DVD/Blu-ray audio from my XBox through my Denon Music system and it works a treat. I've noticed a very minor sync issue on one of two Blu-rays I've tried, but not enough to be an issue. One word of caution, my 1m cable is only just long enough to connect across my TV cabinet

Real Quality..

Good length, very handy, flexible, sturdy and firm connectors, all in all as good as the more expensive cables, in my opinion...totally satisfied, highly recommended.

Este tipo de cables funciona o no funciona, no tiene matices intermedios. El mío funciona, es suficientemente largo por lo que no hace falta presionarlo en ningún punto, así que me parece de buena calidad. Utilizado para unir una TV con una barra de sonido.

Great optical cable - we needed a thin/narrow cable to bundle with others into narrow wall mount conduit. Works well with Apple TV, Samsung TV and Bose Companion 5 system (via mini DAC box).
