Review: Nice - Good and came fast Review: I wanted something to catch the drops of let-down on one boob while my little one was nursing on the boob. Originally I had used the Haka pump for this purpose, but it hangs down too far and interrupts with nursing and she kept kicking it off with those active little legs! This has fit the bill. It stays in place by nestling into your bra cup. So while I'm nursing on the L side, for example, I keep the bra cup in place on the right side and slide this in. I usually catch about a half ounce per side -- it all adds up, and it keeps the bra from getting wet with leakiness. I have quit using cotton breast shields/pads almost entirely since buying these. While I was originally only going to use them when nursing, now I keep them on most of the day, and it allows me to catch the early drops as I start to get full again and close to a next feeding (but if she's still asleep and not ready yet). I've been "nursing on demand" and this has been invaluable. Important to keep the little hole up at the top. The one thing is you have to be careful not to bed over (ex. to empty dishwasher) or you will drip out the top and get your shirt wet. What I do is just try to keep an empty bottle nearby and empty these once I start to get a little pool collecting. If I stay upright, I think I can collect about an ounce per side before this gets too full. Also, I have actually been wearing them at night as well - again, to catch the drips once a side gets full between feedings. What I do in this case is, if I'm sleeping on my right side, then I rotate the little hole from 12:00 (if your areola is a clock and that's the top!) to about 1:30 (halfway between 12 and 3) and that way when I'm lying in bed, it can catch without dripping out. If I turn over halfway through the night then I just rotate whole to that 45-degree angle on the opposite side. This sleeping method isn't foolproof but pretty darn good and get to collect milk while sleeping which feels pretty darn productive! Proud to say these were part of a regime that helped me move from 50% formula to all breast milk!
