Best Brushes for Watercolor
I am new to watercolor, and read these brushes were really good. I have bout 5 so far and am loving them. They hold a ton of water. Not really a ton but more than other brushes I have tried. I look forward to trying more sizes and shapes of brushes from this brand. These brushes hold their shape well. They are a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I highly recommend them. It is true that the right brush can make all the difference in your painting.

BEWARE What I received, is NOT what is pictured
Photo 1 is what I ordered Photo 2 is what I received The OVAL wash brush pictured, is NOT what you will receive You will get a 1/2" FLAT wash brush, with a Grey plastic, angle cut handle, when purchasing this brush

Listing is wrong - photo shows oval wash, it's actually a flat
These are good brushes - I have many of the Princeton Aqua Elite. However, this listing (the photo to the listing) is wrong. If you click on the 1/2", it only says 1/2" on the title of the listing but the photo is of a 1/2" oval wash (cat's tongue), but they will send you a 1/2" flat. I tried twice, so it was not a packing error.

The WRONG brush is pictured in this description!
There is nothing wrong with this brush, but it is NOT the brush that is pictured. The pictures brush is the OVAL WASH brush and this is the WASH brush. There is nothing wrong with the brush, but I ordered from the photo and I looked at the size and saw “wash” and didn’t think much more about it. If they would correct the photo and you saw what you wanted to order and it matched the description, I’m sure it would be great. I’m returning this one and will reorder the OVAL WASH that I wanted in the first place.
