ViewSonicVG2455 24 Inch IPS 1080p Monitor with USB 3.1

Purchased 2x VG2456 monitors for home working and occasional gaming.Packaging is great, all cardboard apart from the small cable ties and bags for the monitor and stand components. Great to see plain cardboard boxes used for packaging (not printed/glossy cardboard). The protective interior parts of the box are made from eggbox like material and shaping. No damage to my screens on arrival and an extremely recyclable packaging.Assembly is easy, 2 parts make up the monitor stand, the base and the upright section. This then easily connects to the screen. 1 screw is required for the whole assembly and this has a ring attached to it so you don't need a screwdriver and can twist the ring instead.Connecting the screens is easy. I've got a home PC and a work laptop. So the home PC connects to the DisplayPort In on Screen 1. There is then a DisplayPort cable between Screen 1 DisplayPort Out and Screen 2 DisplayPort In. Easy connection, and with MST on, the image is passed between the screens. Less cable clutter. My work laptop then connects via USB-C from the laptop to the screens. The image is then passed on via the connecting DisplayPort cable. Bonus, the laptop also charges down that same USB-C cable, so another cable reduction on my desk.I've got the monitors set up with 1 landscape and 1 portrait. The stands allow for angling the monitors left/right, whilst the screens can also go up and down and tilt backwards & forwards. Combined with the screen settings in Windows, means the screens are perfectly aligned at a great working height for me.Cable management options are good, I've fed all my cables (inc Keyboard & Mouse) through the cable management slot and dropped straight under the desk.Image quality seems good, the matt finish (anti-glare) on the screens is nice and the bezels are extremely slim.Would recommended this monitors and look forward to them being used daily (oh, and combined their power consumption is less than my previous monitor, so more screen space and less electricity consumption).

Ich habe mir diesen Monitor v.a. aufgrund des USB-C-Anschlusses gekauft, der es mir erlaubt, mein MacBook Pro mit nur einem einzigen Kabel zu verbinden und darüber Bild, Strom und auch USB-Anschlüsse (am Monitor) zu bekommen. Das funktioniert auch tadellos, ein USB-C-Kabel wird direkt mitgeliefert.Der Monitor sieht schick aus, hat einen schmalen Rand und ist sehr flexibel. Man kann ihn in allen möglichen Varianten drehen, kippen oder höher/niedriger stellen. Großflächiges Arbeiten und auch Filmeschauen ist (für meine Ansprüche) problemlos möglich. :)Ein paar kleine Wermutstropfen:- Die Trageschlaufe hinten am Monitor ist recht groß, sodass der Monitor nicht so nah an der Wand stehen kann (siehe Bild). Dadurch geht etwas Schreibtischfläche verloren.- Der Monitor hat keinen Audioanschluss, sodass man externe Boxen direkt an den Laptop anschließen muss. Für eine vollwertige Dockingstation wäre das noch ein kleines nettes Extra gewesen.- Der Monitor hat wie beworben "nur" FullHD. Wer das Retina-Display des MacBooks gewohnt ist, wird sich etwas umgewöhnen müssen. Die Texte sind z.B. nicht ganz so scharf wie auf einem hochauflösenden Retina-Displays. Ebenso ist trotz der 24"-Größe der Zugewinn an Pixelfläche nicht so groß, wie man das vermuten würde, da die ganzen Reiter, Fenster etc. schon noch recht viel Platz einnehmen. Ästheten oder Leute die viel Pixelplatz brauchen sollten je nach Budget gleich zu QHD oder 4K greifen. Dafür muss man aber auch gleich tiefer in die Tasche greifen, wenn man volle USB-C-Funktionalität (inkl. Laden) haben möchte.Wer eine günstige Dockingstation sucht, für den ist der Monitor ein guter Einstieg. Wer USB-C nicht braucht, bekommt woanders mehr Auflösung für weniger Geld.Diese drei Punkte fallen aber nicht so sehr ins Gewicht, dass ich den Monitor nicht grundsätzlich empfehlen würde. Gerade für Nutzer mit USB-C-Geräten (z.B. Laptops, Tablets, Smartphones) ist dieser Monitor eine tolle, preiswerte und praktische Erweiterung der Arbeitsfläche in der Heim- oder Büroarbeit.

Loved the ease of set-up and the ability to easily change screen angle and height. It’s a good picture quality also. Use two of these with my MacBook Pro 2021

Very nice monitor, i've had it for two days and I simply love it.I like it so much, that the monitor has different "profiles" to better adjust to the situation. For example, since I read a lot on the screen, I use the "office-text" profile, which makes the screen a bit yellowish and that avoids eye fatigue. Others might choose the "web", "video" or default profile, which is way more brighter.There are only few things I do not like about this monitor:1) USB-C output it delivers only 60W of power, which may be enough for a 13 inches laptop, but not for a 15 inches one. Newer monitors, like Dell's U-series, already offer USB C monitors with output power of 85 W. In this regard, this viewsonic monitor VG2755-2k is weak.2) Speakers. It does have a monitor, but they do sound horrible. No one would buy a monitor just for the speakers, I would rather remove the speakers instead of offering such a bad sound.3) The monitor does support display port connection, and HDMI, and USB-C. However, the supported HDMI is 1.4 and newer monitors support already the 2.0 HDMI, which offers much better transmission rates, and better quality video. With this particular monitor, better use the display-port (and avoid HDMI), the quality of the image will be better. Unfortunately, no display-port cable was included and I had to buy it my self (10 euros extra).Those are my small concerns, but I still love it, I do recommend it, and I will buy it again.

C'est mon 3e écran commandé et c'est le bon. Les 2 premiers, des DELL UltraSharp U2719D, présentaient des défauts inacceptables : présence de fuites de lumières sur les bords et un glow excessif. Je les ai retournés et Amazon n'a fait aucun problème. L'écran reçu cette fois ci ne présente aucun défaut et ça fait toute la différence. Il n'y a rien à dire sur la qualité du produit. La prise USB C est très pratique, elle permet de recharger son portable portable (60w max) tout en utilisant l'écran. Je retire cependant 1 étoile pour 2 raisons :- Les hauts parleurs sont inutiles, ne comptez pas les utiliser pour autre chose que les sons systèmes.- Il n'y a pas de prise casque.
