Been buying Gildan since '15. The last batch was expensive (no surprise) but also very thin (not bought since). What are they like these days?

I bought my first batch a few weeks ago, so cannot really compare to the quality and/or price you have in mind from '15. Still, I am very happy with both the quality of the fabric, the pure white color and the feeling when I wear them. In terms of price, they're definitely a great combination of value for money, not at all expensive.

Sorry what is Style G5000?

I suppose that "G5000" is just a code for the producer to identify the product, something like an internal code if you know what I mean. 😉 Not something useful for us buyers/customers identify something useful for the product. Really great T-Shirts, though.

Are these actual heavyweight or are they the pseudo cirset stretchy style designed to be worn three sizes small that every other brand is moving to?

These are the real thing - 100% heavyweight cotton. I got 10 pack of the grey colour and I'm very happy with them. They're not skimpy or stretchy and they didn't shrink either.
