I have used this hair wax for many years. I’ve tried other brands but I always return to this one. I have very thick, straight hair that is cut short with lots of long layers. This hair wax keeps the “floaty hairs” locked down, and keeps everything looking sleek. When I run my fingers through the layers, they lay perfectly with a little help from the wax. I only use about a pea size and rub it all over my warm hands to help it melt. It says it has a firm hold and it does. I have used this for years and I thought it was discontinued because Ulta stopped carrying it, I was so happy to find it on Amazon. I hope that Paul Mitchell never stops making it! When I thought it was discontinued, I tried some other brands and was very disappointed. There is nothing like this hair wax.

As a guy with slicked back hair on top and buzzed sides, this is by fair my favorite hair wax I've tried. I've tried to cut corners and get other cheaper brands, but this is the best option out there for how I style my hair.
