No, it is a cute hat but mine came with a crease in it. Will try to steam it out.

Can you remove the flower

I carefully removed the flower and scraped off the hot glue, it took a bit of effort but I am MUCH happier with the result. It just has a seam line showing which is totally fine. It looks much better without it.

Can this he folded in a suitcase and retain its shape?

No. It will crease and might split along the fold.
