Thomas and Friends Pop-Up Straw Cup

I bought this cute little cup for my grandson a couple of months before he turned three. He was so busy all the time he could never finish a drink in a regular cup without spilling a lot of it. I thought I would give this cup with the straw attached a try. The Pop-Up Straw Cup was perfect!PROS:The cup is strong and sturdy, and made of high quality plastic. The straw is attached so there’s no worry about it falling to the floor and getting dirty. The cup is easy to clean, even the part where the straw is attached.The two handles on either side of the cup made it easy for my grandson to hold the cup and drink all by himself without spilling anything. He could also pop the straw up or shut it down without help. The cup was right for his little hands. He loved popping the straw up and down. It made him laugh.I was very pleased that my grandson could finally finish a drink without us having to help him hold the cup. I also loved it because he loved it, he had lots of fun talking about the characters pictured on it.CONS:The one issue I had with the cup was that it leaked…once.I watched as my grandson tilted the cup to drink the way he always did with another type of sippy-cup he had. The Thomas cup leaked.After I got him to only drink from this cup holding it upright, we never had another leak problem.Therefore, the leaking was due to improper use of the cup on my grandson’s part, not anything to do with the cup itself.I would recommend this Thomas & Friends Pop-Up Straw Cup for children who love Thomas the Train. It is worth the money.

I really wanted to love this cup. It's adorable and my son loved it. Was great for about 2 weeks. Now it leaks terribly. Water just flows out of the top even as it sits upright on the counter. A total waste of money

My little grandson is quite the "Thomas" boy but this is one product I have bought from Amazon which I had so much joy about until I started using it. It's an adorable cup and a super size but my problem was trying to close it without it leaking. I worked with it over and over but never found a way to completely close it. It leaked and it leaked. I finally gave up. My grandson was thrilled about this cup but when he understood that Oma could not keep it from leaking it was difficult but I did finally get him to understand we had to change wet shirts if we tried to use it on a daily basis.If he was younger I might would have gotten one more to make sure the one I got was not just a bad cup because it does happen. Amazon would have allowed me to send it back for a new one most likely if I had mailed it back as soon as I knew it was not working correctly.

My toddler son loves Thomas and he loved this cup. But after being dropped a few times, the hard plastic broke. It was great while it lasted, only wish it would have lasted a bit longer...

This is a great cup and my grandson does very well drinking through the built in straw. The cap closes tightly but if tipped it will leak but slow leak. Overall, we are happy with it.

I have no idea how this sippy cup gets such good reviews... That was the reason I bought it, because it was highly rated by other customers. I received it in the mail yesterday and I hate it !! this cup leaks all over the place, making a big sticky mess! I am returning it, and I would not recommend any mom waste their time or money on this cup!!! The straw is hard plastic and way too small to actually be considered a straw. Unfortunate because my son loves Thomas. Keep shopping
