Also do we still need to wear ear plugs even though we arent in a pool?** A: The Ear Band-it would work but the child would need to wear the ear plugs with the Band-it. The band helps keep the ear plugs in place and doesn't allow the child easy access to play with or take out the ear plugs. **Q: How do you know what size to get?** A: You can go by our recommended age ranges or the best way is the measure the head just as the headband would be worn. Start at the hairline at the forehead and go diagonally across the ears to the hairline at the neck on the backside. Then reference our size chart/recommended age ranges.
