4/4 Full Size Violin Case, Plush Interior Wooden Hard Case With Hygrometer, Crocodile Pattern Leather Bulge Surface Case (Black)

Simple yet classy. Has an old world look. I inherited an old violin made in Bavaria in the 1920's from my grandfather but his vintage case was in very bad shape and needed replaced, and this case looks very similar to the one he used. Perfect for my needs and not too expensive.

I bought this case for my husband’s 100 year old Strat in December 2021. We just had our first child and we’re trying to save money, I wanted to get him a new case for Christmas since we just had his fiddle restored and the original case was tattered and unsafe. Most hard cases cost hundreds, we are both musicians and have spent probably thousands on cases for various instruments, this case was a bargain and I knew there was a chance we would have to return it due to low quality. So I’m still pleasantly surprised to see that this case has held up so well after nearly 2 years of moderate use. The only complaint we’ve had from this case is the long backpack straps broke after a month of use. Other than that, it’s been completely functional and I just recommended it to a friend. It’s definitely worth the price and I would call it a bargain for what you’re getting.

I was hoping this violin case was as nice as it looked in the pictures, well, I opened the box and was pleasantly surprised by the look and quality. It has very nice antique brass buckles and the inside is very nice with black velvet lining, the humidity gauge is a nice touch. I have been toting it around for a week now and it is holding up very well. Excellent quality for the price.

I really loved this case. I didn't go out much (pandemic) but I really needed the backpack straps to work since I prefer carrying it that way when I do play outside the house. One day I was at home simply moving my case across the carpet and the top strap knob broke off the case itself so now I have to figure out how to either fix it or get yet another case. It is otherwise a fantastic case, nice latches, room for chin rest, nice shape and aesthetic. But I can't use it now. :(

It’s okay…I purchased this case to move because I didn’t have a case to protect my violin…it looks sorta nice…it’s flawed, but it does what it’s supposed to do protect my violin…I would say that it’s worth the money (only) if you can afford it…definitely not something to save up for. It has a nice weight about it, and it’s easy to carry. My case looks dusty despite wiping it down it has a dull black dusty looking appearance, I was expecting a more vibrant black. I’m not planning on purchasing another anytime soon, so fortunately that can be fixed. The case is able to hold my 4/4 violin, I was worried that I would have to make modifications like another person apparently had to do…guess I got lucky.

I could not be more pleased with this case. It holds my fiddle, 2 bows, shoulder rest, & has a compartment for tuner & rosin. It is very sturdy, looks great as well. I’m sure it will protect my 100 year old fiddle for years to come.

I just bought an old violin and needed a case that wasn't built in the 1920's. This one checked off all my boxes - hard case, place for my neck rest, room for extras, and it looks great! I'm a sucker for faux alligator cases (like my Taylor case). Functionally it is perfect and the price was also what I wanted to spend. The red stitching is cool as well. I own a lot of guitars and cases and this one is top notch. I'm a big fan!

I have had to buy multiple hard cases in an attempt to keep my violin in them, but none seem to actually fit. This included, however, thus case had a pad at the base I was able to cut out to make it fit. This does not fit a full sized violin without modification.

Delusione totale. Nella descrizione di parla di una custodia in pelle di alta qualità, invece mi arriva una custodia in gomma macchiata in più punti dalla colla usata per incollare l'insieme. Il filo rosso poi non è battuto bene a macchina con trama fitta, ma sembra fatto a mano con un filo facilmente tagliabile. Aprendo scopro con sdegno che l'imbottitura non è di alta qualità ma di bassa qualità e si stacca causa colla di bassa qualità che deve essersi seccata... Lo sportellino porta pece poi come si vede in foto era staccato sull'angolo, così spingo in avanti per farlo combaciare e vedo che deborda dalla forma sottostante, ovvero non hanno preso bene le misure e quindi piuttosto che aggiustarlo l'hanno staccato, pazzesco. Tra l'altro sembra fatto di cartone. Le etichette made in Cina sia fuori che dentro anche no, si vede che non è un prodotto UE. Il punto è che nella descrizione viene esaltata una qualità che non esiste e non c'è scritto che è fatta in Cina, almeno non l'ho letto. L'imballo della spedizione poi era enorme, tre volte la custodia, così per il reso mi è toccato chiedere l'arrivo del corriere. Fortunatamente mi è stato dato il rimborso totale, su questo niente da dire ma consiglio al venditore di rivedere i prezzi. Ho visto custodie da 30€ imbottite e ben fatte, ne ho anche avute made in Cina ma erano fatte bene...

Cover is so good but came damaged

Hallo. Da bei meiner 100 Jahre alten 4/4 Violine nur ein antiker Holzkasten dabei war und ich das Instrument nicht darin lagen wollte, habe ich mich auf die Suche nach einem würdigen Ersatz gemacht. Für unter 100 Euro bekommt man meist nur eine Tasche und das war für mich keine Option. Der Koffer bietet einen guten und hochwertigen Schutz für meine Geige. Zudem finde ich praktisch, dass es hinter der Öffnung für das Instrument noch einen weiteren Bereich gibt, in dem man z.B. eine Schulterstütze unterbringen kann. Vorne findet sich noch ein Dach mit Deckel für Kolophonium, Stimmgerät, usw. Eine Decke, die man über die Geige legen kann wird ebenfalls mitgeliefert. Die Verarbeitung ist für das Geld mehr als in Ordnung. Würde ich wieder kaufen. 5/5.
